If you look closely there is also a tweet from a Brighton fan to mark douglas telling him that they have heard at their end that LuaLua will sign tommorow. If so I find this a strange decision. Hes been talked about well by the club. He did well and is worshipped at Brighton. He was straight into Pardews plans when he came back in the last few weeks from the broken leg. Hes young and fits the "Ashley Plan". Strange one.

Again with local media there will be whispers seeping out around the office. Just takes some spotty kid with an Iphone. This kid definitely tweets several things before any other news sources so he's getting some info from somewhere. I dont think he particularly covers all the bases either. The people he tweets about usually are the ones the likes of the journal etc are writing about the next day. cwarr07 knows bot all. He basically takes your average rumour and runs with it in the hope that the press report similar so he can bask in the glory. Just look at the Gervinho saga, he was giving Mark Douglas all sorts of shite for not reporting it as fact that he'd signed and now he's on his way to Arsenal. At Christmas he did similar with David Bentley. Just look at his time line, it's almost all complete shite that has no basis in fact. You could make an educated guess and have a better hit rate than that stupid twat. You could well be right and by the sounds of it you have been following his exploits for at least six months compared to my 10 days or so. However the bottom line is he seems to come up with stuff before I see the journos say it or the message boards. He may just be extremely lucky. Take this Liverpool tweet today. Claims that the clubs have virtually agreed a fee today. Nobody else has commented on that today. If in the next 24 hours it emerges a fee has been agreed an we have given Enrique permission to meet Liverpool then I would say its ITK. He can never explain how financially it can be done in todays climate. Great if you have a sheik but otherwise books need to be balanced.

I'm bucking the trend then I dont mind, I can have a reasonable discussion with him. Dont agree on a lot of things but I'd not say he's been unreasonable. I tend to think that some here think you are either 100% behind Ashley which means you have to be 100% against Shepherd or visa versa. I'd rather look at facts and some things sway me one way and some things the other. It's not as clear cut as saying one was better one was worse on every subject. Must have been in general chat Seriously I have watch him argue with everyone from Ginge to Manc Mag to Chez to whoever and it is always the same war cry. He ignores proper discussion and reverts to all the one line statements that we all know too well. If he is really pushed on a point to ignores it and reverts to the Gloom was wrong and now they follow......bla bla bla. Try pinning him down on what would be a reasonable finish next year....Those sort of normal questions. I totally agree with your Ashley / Shepherd statement as well. The way Leazes goes on its as though he thinks none of us enjoyed the ride under Keegan and co. I do however think that the sensible ones like me, you chez etc are a dying breed. Too many just want to snipe or wum. In fairness and apart from the usual candidates wheeling out the usual line, I have read some very good posts over the last few days. However such is the bitchiness of this place lately, I think some of these more moderate posters are put off posting more regularly. Which is a shame.

Really why do people who have been around a while still persist in trying to have a reasonable discussion with Leazes. You know he doesnt want to have one, will not consider your point of view and will not even attempt to discuss the issue you want to discuss. When all else fails he will simply add you to his back collection like he is currently doing with Dr Gloom. Its almost like grooming. Its hard to resist but do try, for your own sanity.
