  1. My swingometer now leans more towards a summer clear out of all the big wage players and I would not be surprised to see the following leave. Colochini --- Enrique --- Jonas --- Barton --- Nolan Lets hope Super Carr has some very big sleeves.
  2. 5 million offer for the Zog turned down today according to the Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...o=feeds-newsxml
  3. Honestly, who does this guy think he is? Embarrassing behaviour from a man of his age and public standing. It's not banter, he's just being a twat. Then why follow him
  4. Work from home, locked in your bedroom moderating the bingo forums. No wonder your so depressed all the time I actually once picked a lad up who did this job. His role was to keep them all chatting and spending money.
  5. Fuck me.....wish i'd never asked Loving Leazes Mag....."First 74 seconds"....
  6. So 18 months have gone by and I have a brain freeze as to what to get next. Whats peeps got.
  7. Listening to it but its basically Steve Wraith and all his mates business partners so quite shite really. Its pretty one-sided but the majority of their points are valid. Thats objective. You only have to read a few other forums to see a whole range of view points from fans. If they want a serious show they need to broadcast all sides whether they agree with them or not. Two views I've read today. and Regardless whether you agree with them, you should put all views into the mix.

  9. If its any consolation, I was in the very back row of the next section along under the other Granada sign on Saturday and the view of the game was fantastic. So much better than a side view or an angled view.
  10. So get on and tell us JB rather than getting Wraith to be your mouthpiece.
  11. Reminds me of the scene from Life of Brian where the hordes are standing outside of Brians window waiting for a sign.
  12. fuck me when I clicked to follow JB 5 mins ago he had 31 followers......theres now over 600
  13. Not sure what that means? I can see his tweet?
  14. Which Journo said that? He'd get dogs abuse off rival fans ! Having read Newcastle Online a bit lately, he'll get quite a bit off our own fans.
  15. Taxi driver. Nothing compares to the freedom of self employment, particularly when its something trivial like this and not the stress of running your own business. Waking up and deciding whether to work or not depending on many factors is bliss. Being able to take holidays at the drop of a hat is bliss. Driving scumbags around on a Saturday night is not so bliss. I do miss the day to day fun of being involved in the running of a national business but could never see myself going back to such a stressful life. The wife is about to go back to work so I will be daddy day care for the next few years which I did with the six year old and am really looking forward to doing again. It will mean a bit more graft on some evenings but c'est la vie. My ideal scenario would be to live just off the wifes wages and be a stay at home dad all the time without any work. I think its very rare to find someone who is truly content with their lot. IMO the worst job in life is selling (sorry Stevie). I did it for many years and seeing the older guys trying to keep up with life and hit targets was a sad sight to see. Its really a game you need to be out of by your 40's.
  16. If you wanted to be labelled a armchair fan, and a part-timer in the same season, then yes, do that. By pay per view I meant pay on the day and see where the noise is etc (if your desire is to be part of the singing section).
  17. Apart from the likes of Stevie who wants to move with mates, would the wise thing not be to pay on the gate and then buy a part season ticket come November once you have seen how things have panned out.
  18. Joey Barton about to join Twitter according to local journo
  19. First of all, I emailed Anil two years ago when this rumour first surfaced (didnt get a reply) and secondly, this board couldnt cope with the sudden burst of positivity if it did happen.
  20. They've already said we are about to tie up an international midfielder. Doubt they will be buying him for the bench. They have also indicated they want pacy wingers, so you now have Barton, Tiote, the new midfielder, Gosling not too mention a possible new move for Ireland and Nolan. All basically vying for two spots. Its simple really.
  21. Not sure you are either with an argument like that. I said starting 11 next year!
  22. What!? Would you care to explain that utterly ridiculous statement? Its pretty fucking simple really If we had decent strikers he wouldnt be top scorer.
  23. Mark Douglas's Blog at the Sunday Sun In a nutshell.
