Aye, I think most people, including Eddie, are just a bit ponderous as to our overall style of play at the minute, not so much the results. I don’t think it’s anything major, but we are certainly not ourselves. On our day we are like a super charged engine and it only takes a few misfires to make it sluggish. We have players who are out of form, new players trying to fit in, and others whose confidence is dropping off because of how the above is effecting us. Personally, I think the midfield is the main problem at the moment and given how much Howe will need to use the full squad in the coming months, I think he is going to have a tough time trying to get the engine purring again.

Cracking result, but last years team would have won that. I’m not sure what’s wrong with us lately but we are a shadow of the team that destroyed Spurs in 20 minutes. Hopefully Howe can get to the bottom of it soon.

Probably daft, but I’d much rather see Toonali playing where Bruno is and Bruno further up the pitch being creative. Think I’d be tempted to have Wilson upfront, Gordon on the right and Isak on the left at some point if it goes on like this.

Tartare? I got served up one of them in a fancy restaurant in Bruges. Fuck that shit.

Hell of a shock tbh I knew I’d put a bit of beef on since my hols, but it’s not til you see a semi naked side view and realise they’d look canny on a lass.

We were at Seaburn beach from 7.30am with the paddle boards and kayak. I even ended up doing a bit of swimming in the sea and once the initial cold shock was over it was fantastic. Packed up at around 2 as the red arrows showed their appreciation of my sea skills. Only thing that spoiled the day was seeing photos of my man boobs when I got home. Diet started.

I usually IMDB the shit out of any film I’m going to watch, but we’d just got back from a fantastic family paddle boarding day at the beach and I thought a nice family film would finish the day off lovely. My 12 year old couldn’t believe his ears and thankfully knows better than to repeat it. Really good laugh a minute film though
