7 years too late. So that's what caused austerity, Brexit, etc
-
-
seriously I'm probably one of the slimmest on here. I'm putting the finishing touches to perfection right now. No bread or spuds for a week, just roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli and meat.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched
Christmas Tree replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
Watched the trailer for that last night. Looks class. -
Jesus wept I'm not going to stop discussing the biggest political event in a generation (which I and the majority of the country voted for), just because it may or may not effect you at some point in the future. I suggest you grow up. You don't see me blubbing when you and everyone else wanks themselves silly over Uber.

Listen, let's not get too distracted by the Ginger twins moaning about me in a thread I delivered into this world 6 years ago. That's right, like a 19th century missionary in darkest Africa, I created a sanctuary for political deliberations. It's also a bit rich when the moaners are people who usually have very little interest in politics. Would I wander into the guitar thread and mock Toms chords or set foot in the cricket thread to comment on whatever happens in there. Of course not. Back on topic please.

CT lite Never

You're confusing national debt with the budget deficit. Very different things
-
Listen penis lite, you popping in here and telling people what to do is a bit like me coming to your gym and telling them all how to exercise. If you are interested in politics, put up or shut up I'm sure the regulars in here enjoy having a resident Tory to cast their loathing onto.
-
Austerity is still there. The deficit is still been reduced. All they've done (being new sheriffs in town), is abandoned his surplus deadline. They've bought themselves some wiggle room for any rainy days ahead.
-
Hold on, they haven't even started testing them without humans yet (iirc) and they are only be used in certain test areas. A long long road from there to them being in everyday normal use.

I told you this wall coming on the day of the reshuffle in July. I said that Brexit had given her an opportunity to move back into the centre and that we'd see new fiscal policies and an exciting Autumn statement. This is all a new playing field created by Brexit and nothing whatsoever to do with some reaction to Corbyn.
-
See 2015 manifesto (pre Corbyn) for housing. As for pulling the Tories left, he's simply just vacated the centre ground so there is more room for the Tories to play.

???? Last years.

Not over the camping with Mam joke yet

It depends which of your many theories you are using this time Is it the June 24th OMG the FTSE 100 has collapsed due to Brexit and the economy's fucked. Or when that recovered (yes recovered, not the dead cat theory you kept flogging), do you mean the OMG it's the 250 that tells the true picture. (Also now at record levels). Then there was the housing data, manufacturing data and service industry dat. The only trend of note is that you like quoting all these things when they are negative and conveniently move on to something else when they're positive

Governments always promise to build more houses. Nowt to do with Corbyn. The problem is not the will, but getting planning permission. That's where they all usually come unstuck.
-
Pleased I'll be long dead before these ever become common place. Personally I can't see how they could ever be safer than a human in everyday normal driving conditions. A whole part of your driving test is hazard perception. I'm not convinced this can be built into a car. Even in my own cul-de-sac I know there's a house with very small children that have a habit of darting out from a concealed entrance. I therefore drop to a few mile per hour passing that house. Nee robot can have that personal localised hazard perception.

Investors are shitting themselves so much that the FTSE 100 and 250 are soaring and close to record levels.

Cracking indeed

Btw, as for dominate, there's 10 threads in use today an apart from predicting the score for the next game, I've posted in one of them. Precious
-
I think there's a lot of wind up goes on and I'm probably the BUT of most of it. Leazesmag would argue the same points through every thread. I discuss politics in politics, EU in EU, football in football. People's main problem on here is that I'm a conservative and have an opposite view on politics to most. Note an opposite view not an incorrect view. My optimism at politics / EU is equally balanced out by the negative view put across by you and others. If it's too much then tough really Follow Quiffs leadership and put me on ignore or petition Ant for the big trigger.

The only thing I have in common with Leazesmag is WE both want Rafa to stay.

The fucking cheek! You've had more user names than I've had pies.
