Ambleside. - Decent sized, some decent places to grab scran and like Alex said a decent base. You can do a lot of stuff near by walking wise. Or goto Grizedale a short drive to do Go Ape. Keswick - North end of the Lakes. Again, a 5 mins drive upto Whinlatter you have great walking for the kids, or if they like cycling the MTB trails which are graded for all ages / abilities and again Go Ape. Windermere / Bowness. Like Ambleside really for size and stuff to do. My fave places are Ambleside and Keswick. Fave time to go is Spring / Autumn and Winter is just amazing up there. Places looks mega.

We have been to Sanara Eulalia a few times the port area is lovely.

Thats the thing. Company I am at now, it's a good bunch of lads. But the gaffer is getting more and more juniors and grads in. Last 12 months all I have done is firefight and roll turds in glitter. Contractor on a job phoned 6 times yesterday adamant we had fucked up. He is trying to get a volume of concrete on a job. He said we were 160m3 out. Spent all day chasing my tail. This morning he emailed through asking for this URGENT thing to be resolved. Turns out the cunt and his QS has been using out of date information. CUNT. If I went on me own and specialised I could cut all that shite out.

Last week got some great news that virtually everyone in the house buying chain we are in are sorted and ready to go. So was hoping to get a date agreed this week. By the sounds of it, its out solicitor thats holding things up. Yesterday got told the people who's house we are buying have requested another survey on the house they are buying. FFS so looks like its gonna be pushed back again. Was hoping to be in before December too. The buyers of our house are in rented and their agreement runs out the week before Crimbo so pressure is on.
