For the record we won't be relegated.

You're picking on me as usual cause you love me.

So whats changed since the Blackburn game to raise your concerns? That game was our best this season BTW Well, I'm just a bit worried that the teams below us are making more of an effort, I really didn't expect Reading to get anything from Man City for example. Maybe I'm just having a dip in optomism, I know on paper we should theoretically have an easier run in than some but it's deffo a squeaky bum moment for me at the mo. I wasn't surprised to see Reading beat Man City. Reading will be safe I reckon. As has been said a few times now, if we want to get out of trouble, we need three points from Birmingham. We might lose to Birmingham. But we need to win those 2/3 home games against weaker sides.

Bang on. The last thing we can be accused of as a failing is patience. Loads of fans are dead impatient though. Loads of fans are dumbasses as well.

Very much so. I mean what part of "You saw Fernando Torres the other night score a goal [for Liverpool] when a lot of players would have taken another touch, and Mark comes into that category, too. He doesn’t need a lot of space, he can do the unexpected.” says he is as good as Torres? Like you say, people bitching for the sake of it. Id have Viduka ahead of Smith up front any game. Id also prefer a fully fit Viduka/Owen than Martins/Owen and Viduka has strength up front. For the record I'm not having a pop at KK. Oh, my mistake then. Across the many boards I roam I'm still sticking up for him as you well know.

The entire country for a start. I think it really is mostly the media. Big hype big fall stylee...The old formula. We're not that important in the scheme of things.

Well he's not going to the press and say he thinks he's a lazy, worthless piece of shit is he? He's always been good at motivating the troops man. Yeah but this is just delusional. What has he exactly said that's delusional though? Viduka patently can't be anything like Torres 99% of the time. If he's saying that in that one moment he can do the unexpected that's fair enough I guess. I don't want to be too hard on KK. Motivating players only makes sense if the player themselves can believe it. Worth a go I guess. If he's saying that? But he isn't really saying that. He's saying that on the whole they have similar assets which is patent bollocks. I've watered it down cause I like him - as you would do for you mate when he starts rambling in the pub. I must have missed the part where he said Viduka had Torres' pace combined with his movement then and a desire and hunger that he has. On the whole indeed. Ask yourself why make such a dumb comparison in the first place? It's embarrassing. We both realise he meant that both can score the odd unexpected goal in the box....At the end of the day so what? I'm sure as you are clearly aware this is a motivational workout, but my god has it come to this? How is it a dumb comparison? He only mentioned Torres due to that goal the other evening, that's all. Viduka can score out of nothing, he's proven that plenty of times over his career. Ok.

Would we have been in this shit state under Allardyce?

The 'winnable games' will soon be here no worries mate. That was aimed at PP and the thread in general, not you. If I remember correctly, people were saying exactly the same thing about Allardyce after twice as many games as Keegan's had. It's not a Messiah complex in the least bit, just common sense that a bloke that's had 8 games, 6 against top 7 opposition shouldn't even be questioned on why he hasn't 'turned it around' yet. Get a grip and "stop posting shite". Just trying to get rid of some tension before I watch 'Lost'. -

In my mind they have become an entity like Rod Hull and Emu. Similar skill set. -

Without going into all that is obvious to most of us (I've nursed a 30 pager on N.O. about Mashley fucking up), I will say that the summer spend was too limited to apportion the whole blame on SA and I always had a gut feeling he (SA) went to Mashley for more cash in Jan and the resulting fallout led to his dismissal. It all seemed too disorganised (the flirt with Nappy) etc to have been part of "the plan". SA doesn't deserve to be judged on half a season with a team half-built (with little money). You see all along SA maybe could see the limitations better than most of us which might half way explain his reticence in tactics - guiding a faltering ship through tricky waters. Perhaps we cannot even blame Mashley if we take into account their serious lack of football knowledge and background. Yet if this is the case and they are by not means idiots why didn't they appoint some serious advice givers at board level they week they took over? That surely would have been the approach of long term serious players. All that talk of an internal review was only it seems about finance and not it seems about football...Was Kemsley HIS main advisor all along? It wouldn't surprise me taking into account the subsequent appointments. I said somewhere a few weeks ago that the greatest tragedies can only occur when a former hero is in place to take the fall. Bringing in KK was a masterstroke of PR but a wild gamble regarding the first team. That is still my view although I have had to convince myself that rabbits may still be pulled from circus hats. -
He hasn't invested £250m in the club. He bought the club. He's invested £8m net on the pitch, the only place it matters.

Exactly. I'd play Martins ahead of him but would not lose any sleep in case Viduka starts. In those few cases he actually turned up, he put in mostly decent performances imho. His link up play, his ability to keep possession high up the pitch and his threat in front of goal would actually really be a big bonus in contrast to the brainless things other players do. Just say Martins man, we know you wanted to. For a change I was actually at first thinking of Smith. But I was tempted to write Smith/Martins though... Smith can be our Betega [KevinKeegan/] I wouldn't mind him to be our Bettega though...

It's this kind of thing KK comes out with that really worries me.

It's all relative. I don't remember us ever being 2 points from the drop. I do remember a manager being slated for bigging up smith, dropping zog, excluding enrique, targetting scottish league players and talking endless shite. I also remember making the point, if Keegan came in, was shite and left, what then for NUFC? We might well find out soon. Grass is always greener. So go find the other side already and do it sharpish, you sorry troll. Shut the fuck up you yank twat. [Ramsey/] -
He's here because Ashley couldn't think of any better option, and went with the opinion of the first gurning sky camera mong he encountered in the away section at Fulham. I bet Ashley's glad he's got your counsel On current evidence, I'd give better advice than Mort. Wise is rambling and wild eyed staring at Mort across the cravass of their respective backgrounds and understanding of the game. We can only wait.
