Basically Egypt were compact and organised and CDI were in love with themselves. Drooogba missed a couple of sitters and that was that.

Lareya Kingston. Get him!! Who? Sounds like a reggae singer. Better than anyone we have in midfield. http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/socc...p-up.php?ID=194

"Even more irksome was the wariness with which the British regarded Philip when he first came on the royal scene. A poll taken in 1947 revealed widespread dismay at Philip's alien origins. Never mind that he was, like Elizabeth, a great-great-grandchild of Queen Victoria. To the public he became 'Phil the Greek', an opprobrious nickname which still surfaces from time to time today. It was inaccurate. Philip was born a Prince of Greece, but his ancestry was actually Danish and German. The nickname was none the less wounding for that, though." He line is oringinally from the House of Hannover crossed with the Danes. The Danes had the practice of exporting Royalty and Royal lines to countries where the natives didn't really trust each other to run things. Our Royals are mostly Krauts as well Stevie if you were wondering. Saxe Coburg Goethe till the name changes. Aye but if a Paki is born in England, are they Pakistani or English? They're English of course they are, so Phil remains Greek till the day he dies. Hang on, my brother was born in Singapore but he's English If a dog's born in a stable it doesn't make them a horse. Still, I must admit I've always thought Phil was Greek. Getting back to the main topic, I'm not supporting anyone in particular, I lose interest when my team's not playing. It's not in the interests of the 'Royals' to tell people anything meaningful.

God you lot are finicky. Good performance and the players played nice and tight within formation for a change. They did cheer the possession later when they started to understand what was going on.

Second half was a lot better from England. Owen must be pissed off, every outfield player apart from Lescott got a bit of playing time, Owen didn't. Could be good for us though. Might put in a bit more effort with his second team now.
-
At the very least it's nice to be able to sit back knowing they've got some clue what to do now.

Geremi £2m??? Apparently he is doing ok at the ANC Geremi goal v Tunesia Doing really well for Cameroon. His set pieces have been surprisingly good throughout the whole tournament. As for players: For centre half I would like us to go for Mertesacker. Imbo (the b stands for biased before anyone is asking) the probably most underrated centre half in Europe at the moment. Tall, good reading of the game and always tries do build up the game from the back. I think we had this talk last year Isegrim. Yes rate him.

Who the fuck is that? Is it David Platt?

I honestly don't think England are playing well. The amount of misplaced passes and lost balls in the first half was shocking. I agree it will take the players time to get used to Capello's continental way of playing though. The misplaced passes come with the territory.

I think we're playing rather well. Looks like they know what they should be doing after years of looking like clowns postionally. The Italian way is for the def to be confident enough to bring the ball up and squeeze space so the midfield can rotate and be available for the ball. The players seem to be doing this without too much effort but it will take time. Much better than hoofing it to a winger or straight down the middle and losing posession every 10 seconds. J.Cole needs to get closer to Rooney. Ginge looks really bad.

Who's the guest yabbering shit in the background?

He's very skillful though. This is one player imo where Wenger missed the boat. Pace probably was the issue. If Milner works on his crossing, he's every bit as good as Bentley. Can't agree with you there like. I think Bentley's different class. IMO, with the exception of pace* and crossing ability, Milner has a lot going for him. The major difference between him and Bentley is delivery, from open play and set-pieces. If Milner nails that, we'd all love him. His work ethic is second to none, too. *I also don't think he's all that slow. Aye and Shola has got a lot going for him apart from a first touch and the ability to score goals, apart from that he's a world class striker. Pace and crossing ability are the two most important attributes a winger can have, Milner is lacking in both departments. No, but apart from that.

Battenberg is close to where I come from, never knew about the cake stuff. Originally the Battenbergs died out in the 14th century, the name was only reused early in the 19th century. Anyway, I support Poland... ... just in their group game against Austria. I'm beginning to think this is going to be more fun without England there.

I'd go with Vista, its much better now than when it first came out, more titles are compatible and programmed with Vista in mind, before long you won't be able to avoid Vista. What about downloads and streaming is it a menace? I use bitTorrent and streaming on my Vista machine. Ok. Thanks.

Tbf that is hilarious.

I am Kurdish mate Oh. I have a mate as well who's Kurdish. Useless fact for you there. What part of Kurdistan is he from, I am from the Iraq part (Don't worry Stevie am not a bomber) You're not Pakistani though. I think the term "Asian" is more racist than "paki", I really do. At least if you say Paki, you're referring to someone from Pakistan. Asian is just putting everyone in the same basket, when there are so many diversities in that part of the world. Like Kurdish people look more like Turks than Indians, would we call Turks "Asian"? I used to get in fights all the time at school until year 9, people calling me paki etc etc, now personally I don't find it offensive at all because the people that say it obviously haven't got a clue what they are talking about because I am not from Pakistan. People do say that word in a racist way and to hurt others feeling, doesn't bother me though. For the Turkey bit, it just depends what part of it your talking about, the Kurdish part is in Asia but apart from that in my opinion the rest is in Europe. I hate Turks btw My mate also hates the Turks btw. Its a Kurdish thing man So I've been told. Kurds might be sitting on a load of oil and the Turks would actually fancy stealing some of it. With U.S. bases in Turkey as well as Eeyerak it would be a tricky one. The Kurds iirc fought Saddams lot for many a year. Good fighting and proud people like the Afghans.

Bound by constrictions and political red tape. I love all colours and creeds as long as they speak English and don't bomb us. Parky, I support Greece for this tournament. Noted. But can't say I'm not a little disappointed.
