Well I rekon my friend's friend who died last year at 29 leaving a small daughter behind was also a 'brave bride' She had a day out of the hospice to marry her love taking her oxygen, syringe drive and wheelchair with her! I never liked Jade or anything she stood for but feel deeply sorry for what has happened to her, but the media seem to think she's only the only one going through what she is.

Yep. Or even a blackcurrant juice, In some pubs it's nicer than the lager Im sure it is, I dont like lager anyway. Apple and Raspberry J20 or the bluberry one will do nicely with lots of ice. a mate bought me a Baileys with a liqueur mixed in, I think it was called Kahlua (sp).That was gorgeous. B52s are canny nice. It's a layered shot with Baileys, Grand Marnier and Kahlua / Tia Maria (both the same, more or less). I made a one up which was basically just white creme de cacao with vanilla Stoli garnished with grated white chocolate served in a Martini glass. They're to die for tbh - ask Chez Given if you don't believe You can hoy a bit of sugar syrup in if it's too strong. Did a variation on it with with creme de framboise and raspberry vodka served with a raspberry on a cocktail stick. They're both a bit sweet for my tastes like, but nice for one or two. Thats it, I'm going to ask for a B52 on Saturday night, sounds really scrummy! I love the sound of the Raspberry one too. Do you work in a bar in your spare time alex?!

To go with the favourite alcohol thread, what crisps, nuts etc, do you like to go with your drinks? I like Pitaschios or walkers salt and vinegar.

I dont see the point of drinking alcohol free drinks. May aswell have a J20!!

Dont drink often, but I like red wine or a Baileys and Tia Maria on ice. Pimms and lemonade goes down well on a hot summers day too!

Awful down here, everytime I go into town there's another shop closed down. My brother is a carpenter, he was made redundant yesterday, we hoped this year would be a better one after the shit time we all had of it last year but my poor bruv has this to cope with now. Hubby left his job of 29 years last April and set up his own garage, not great timing to be setting up on your own, but apart from a couple quiet weeks recently, he's doing ok thank god.

Oh Sshh alex. I never really watched any Buffy, but saw one or two episodes before we gave up sky and I was quite surprised I enjoyed them, so thought I'd give the whole lot a go. Apparantely its alot better than it got credit for.

The complete compilation of Buffy, every episode and all the extras for £49 from Amazon. Bargain!! Especially as the earlier released compilation in the box is still about £180. Feel sorry for anyone who bought that at that price though!

New episodes at last!!!!! Though I hated the last series. My favourites include the Epideme virus one (sp) Back to reality. backwards and the one about the Cat's origins, I think that was first series. Oh and the one where Kryton has a brother on drugs!

Supporting Newcastle for me is like being in a stormy, passionette love affair. Its a bloody roller coaster ride of emotions. It can be painful, trying, irritating, amazing, over-whelming, consuming and unpredictable with great highs and real lows, but whatever happens I love them.
