  1. The Aussies will be fuming OOOH them Why you! *stands feet and slaps head* OOOpppsss Sorry Sammy
  2. I've got that Mrs. Raider, and as you've said you've watched it before. So you really can't go wrong with how visually stunning it is. Have you got the blue planet aswell Jonny? And Meenzer...
  3. Well its the same old advice, but you both need to sit down and really talk, not email. Perhaps both of you are nervous of committing yourselves to buying a home together, which if there are any doubts at all are better to have come out now rather than once you have a mortgage together.Hope you can work things out.
  4. That'll do for me! I will set my son on to it and see if we can set ours to region 0. EXcellent, thanks. I see loads of dvds i want that I can't get over here!!! By the way....I didn't know there were any other regions other than 1 or 2 Aye well, it's just a big con really. Dvds for example in Mexico are much cheaper than in the US but they're different regions (4 & 1) to protect the prices in richer countries. I think there's no real difference and any player could theoretically play any dvd though (once the factory settings are unlocked). Sneaky!

  6. To continue what I have bought recently, just got my sis a PS2 on ebay for £50 with 2 games, leads and a controller etc, which I thought wasnt bad at all, she'll be dead chuffed. Also I think I might buy the planet earth complete series, which I really fancy watching again.

  8. Almost certainly not, I'd say. Your best bet is to see if there is a code available for your dvd model to unlock the regions. I got one for mine that I was able to set to region '0' - i.e. it can play dvds from any region. There's loads of free sites with the codes and instructions as to how to access the correct menus. It might invalidate any warranty though (mine was just a cheap one so I wasn't arsed anyway). No, I wouldnt be arsed either as mine was cheap and its rubbish! Thanks Alex, I didnt realise you could unlock a dvd player That would be great if I could. I want Malcolm in the middle, Spin city and Frasier, theyre only on region 1 And with MITM its only the first season thats available at all!
  9. Make-Crap Model-Shite Don't laugh Cath its a Funai DVD recorder. Model no-DR-B2737 cheap rubbish from Comet I think it was, though not old, but I wish I'd paid abit more and got a decent one, its so slow.

    DVDs

I want to buy a couple of DVD's that are from America, so they only play if you have a DVD player that enables you to view region 1 DVD's. I'm pretty sure mine doesnt do that. but would I be able to view them on our PS2 by any chance?
  11. I agree, thats a gem, I'm crying here Admin, please don't ban Stevie, he's priceless
  12. I thought it was you Stevie, I recognised how you write! (Take no notice of Mr Fish, at least you don't write in text speech)! Funnily enough I've noticed on a few NUFC forums over the years that people often use commas instead of apostrophes, is it a northern thing? I've never noticed it anywhere else. Anyway, how are you Stevie? Why do they ban you? You always seem a polite person to me PS Love the noise of a kettle too, though my son doesn't get it....he thinks it sounds like a moped!! Kh's...ooohh love them too. Hubby is looking for a 3 into 1 exhaust for the kettle, that sounds awesome. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=398906 That might give you an idea as to why.... Thanks Craig. Actually I must confess I laughed myself silly reading that!!! Hilarious!!! The 'Alex you're a doughnut' bit started me off!!!!!!!! (sorry Alex) Hmm sorry about that. I've only ever known Stevie to be polite and friendly to me so that was abit of a shock I'm not condoning Stevie's posting and immature remarks to people but I have to say he does have a point about people here being so damned pedantic and picky (to the point where it gets boring) about grammar and spelling, like I said before, at least he tries to write in full and not use text speech. Anyway, is he banned again now?

  14. Hiya Hank. Im fina ta, a CBX? I remember them! Yeah I think hubby is going through his second childhood, we always used to have bikes years ago, hubby likes GT's. we had a GT500 lowrider he built, I think he's going to 'chop' this kettle too! He's also got an Enfield, 94... looks very old style, I like that to chug around on making loads of noise!!! (He runs the workshop in a motorcycle shop, so its easy to have bikes) Its amazing how much his kettle is worth he could put it on ebay and sell it as it is now for around £2000 Have you still got your Z900? Nice bike....just be careful on it mind!
  15. Went shoping in Cheltenham on Saturday, bought quite a few xmas pressies there (girly things) Today I have just bought a water pump for a kettle (Suzuki GT750) off ebay, £135 Its for hubby for xmas, but I have to say....what a waste of money!!!
  16. I think we discussed this topic ages ago on here it soon became obvious that many of you did trim down below as it made the penis look larger!!
  17. Where did you get that ffs? Hilarious That pic (and a few others) were posted on our Torquay forum a few weeks back by a Bath city fan following our FA cup away game against them. The Bath fan posted the pics to show those few Torquay 'fans' (wankers) who had been causing trouble throwing bottles etc. The man top right in the first pic with the glasses on, being the biggest culprit, apparentely! (Affectionately known in these parts as 'Meathead to the chav kids who hang around with him)!!! What a great advert for our club he is..... or was I should say, as the whole lot of pics were sent to the club and Colin Lee has banned the trouble makers for the rest of this season!!
  18. How about some gardening? nothing too heavy. It can be very theraputic Get him to write a list of things he normally doesnt have time for, maybe odd jobs around the house etc. Jigsaw puzzles Suduko I was also going to mention the Terry Pratchett books. Has he watched the LOTR's trilogy? Also might be good to think of any Tv series he missed out on like Lost, 24, Sopranos or comedys.
  19. Looks very similar to one of the trophys hubby has won over the years for his racing. Tacky horrible dust catchers they are too I've hidden quite a few of them away in a cupboard!!!
  20. Excellent, there's always at least one PC on here so thats cool.
  21. Nah, you can't get radio on any of them I don't think. Mine charges really quickly and you get a good few hours play (sorry I'm not more specific) per charge. I use mine a lot too (every day). Briliant thanks alex Im liking the sound of one of those and I must admit I'm normally one to buy 'names' though on the other hand I wanted a radio too
  22. ok, ta. they were on my mp3 too, I bought some Sony ones in the end.
  23. Thanks alex and JawD. Yes that 8Gb sounds fine, only want it for music not vids. Can you get radio on one of those too? How long does it last when charged then?
