They certainly better not. Second best looking trophy there is in my book (just after the WC).

Someone posted it on another forum, and it's popped up on premierleague.com. Whether it's just a website gimmick or not, don't know. But guessing it'll be mainstream soon enough.

More earth shattering news for today with this: tis nice.

We've spread the goals out but we haven't scored many. 'Quite the opposite' to being 'particularly poor' would suggest we've scored a lot of goals. We haven't - you're making stuff up again. Shola's still the 3rd highest goal scorer with Dyer btw. I know all that. And even if I am making stuff up, it isn't again. I know we're not banging them in like ManU for heaven's sake we're sitting midtable. The argument was about whether we've particularly missed Shola as part of the team or not. So, ok sorry, you tell me how many we would have today as opposed to 34.
-
In other words, we haven't been particularly poor scoring goals, quite the opposite weve had people chipping in from all over the place, and unless this would have finally been the year he was going to get those 20 goals, then we haven't really missed him at all. And I certainly didnt make up his handball at WHam last season, as deliberate as you'll ever see tbh.

Simply because Sib and has half a brain to understand the game and doesnt fuck up most of our attacking play with always new and improved ways of doing so. It is a hatred based on facts. God knows I've observed enough of onfield action to base my judgement. Shola was in his "best ever form" whilst carrying that injury. I doubt we'll be seeing a version of him that is so much more mobile. On a tangent, seeing Chopra banging them in is annoying, he certainly wouldnt have made as our next local number 9, but he was never given as much of a chance as Shola. I wish our number 23 would "find his level" asap. Anyway this has been an enjoyable enough season without him, I'll certainly enjoy what is left. We've missed Shola a lot this season imo. That you can't see that is because you're blinded by your dislike of the lad. I usually try to stay as objective as possible on football issues... although on this one it is very hard. Even by raking my brain I can't see it. Whichever goals he would have scored have probably been compensated, and we're starting to have a good overall team chemistry. We've lacked creativity at times, but that's not really where he would have stepped in. We haven't deliberately given away a penalty though this season Anyway enough about that. It's only going around in circles as always. If you want to stay objective you might try not making things up and making ridiculous statements like the one in bold which have no basis whatsoever. What the hell is that supposed to mean? of course it has no certain quantifiable basis. It's all guesswork and personal opinion... which is exactly why this debate is taking place.

There's big gap between 'brilliant' and that. He is a very decent player. Him and Martins link up well, and he more than deseved an extension (maybe not 2 years though). And is the kind of player you want as part of a squad. "Very decent". Couldn't quite bring yourself to say good. He's decent. I'll give you that. Where do you see him in terms of the squad then? Cos I see him coming down the pecking order to Shola, and I think Shola should only probably be a 4th choice striker. I realise that you'll obviously think Sibierski is 10 times the player Shola is (he isn't, btw ), but I don't really want Sibierski anywhere near the first team on a regular basis next season. I was about to mention the pecking order actually. Ideally for me next season it would be: Martins - Owen - New Guy - Sib - Shola. And it is still pretty obvious to me Sib is a better all round player than Shola will probably ever be.

Can't agree with that... as much as 3-1 is a good socre for us, I hate the fact that little irish twat took such a blatant dive and got rewarded for it ... *spits*
-
We're gonna piss our pants? Something like that. Or whatever the equivalent is in football. Will the 3rd kit be on show tonight? hopefully.
-
I reckon we'll make it difficult and uncomfortable for ourselves.

Eusebio too actually, didn't have Di Stefano though

Bloddy hell The life of this thread started pretty slowly, and I though it was just going to fade away. Log in today to see 5 pages worth. Some names like Platini, Puskas, Gullit and Klinsmann I already had on the bench, just forgot to add to the first post. Muller is probably a good shout to start up front.
-
... hummmm. I guess not

Check out this guy's tube videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/bucklox Some great poker lessons for all.

If ever there was a cliché thread topic for a footie forum this is it. I was messing about on Pro Evo the other day putting together a World Stars team, having now unlocked all classic players on it. This is what I came up with: Banks ???? - Moore © - Baresi Beckenbauer Best - Pele - Maradona - Cruyff Van Basten - Muller and a whole bunch of subs: Yashin, Schmeichel, Zoff, Adams, Blanc, Desailly, Matthaus, Shearer, Ronaldo, Zidane, Cantona, Papin, Gazza, B. Charlton, Zico, Garrincha, Maldini, Keegan, Baggio, Romario, Gullit, Rijkaard, Klinsmann, Platini, DI Stefano, Puskas, Eusebio, Di Stefano ... So where are the blatant errors?

With Sky+, can you watch one thing whilst recording another??

lol, something that big is very possible aye. Of what exactly then?
