  1. more proof that NUFC is in fact a soap opera. Another new twist.
  2. See what I mean about there being serious trust issues. Sib has merited a one year extension... pretty obvious no? But Roeder can't even get that right
  3. Had fallen behind, so getting both at the same time:
  4. it really is blah... just a crap version of the previous one.
  5. There's a serious trust issue. I don't trust Roder to make the right decisions at all anymore in any situation.
  6. Although this doesnt seem like it'll be a hit, I'm glad we are with Umbro and don't have to have those nike or adidas mckits that are all the same.
  7. ... meh, nothing too brilliant. Can't say I'm keen on those dark blue bits on one of the shoulders. The 06 one was top class, so I guess we were due something a bit iffy.
  8. in terms of the stadium itself... FIFA no shadow of a doubt. Plus Pro Evo have that annoying thing where home team absolutely always plays left to right in the first half... so you can never attack the Gallowgate in the 2nd half. And they have got the "away" support in the stand behind the goal on the right... which means NUFC's Gallowgate and Liverpool's Kop are always filled with away fans... brilliant.
  9. ... another annoying dive from you know who for the first goal. Three match ban on its way hopefully
  10. I don't where the knee jerking is here. We knew it was going to be tough, but Roeder's selection meant we made even harder for ourselves, he should be working for us... sometimes it doesnt look like it. We'll end the season somewhere between 8th and 13th and actually that's okay by me, Roeder will have had his shot, and that'll be that. Get someone else in.
  11. For those who, like me, didn't bother watching MOTD yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucY3eceqAtY Totally useless interview of course, but cool to hear what the guy sounds like I guess.
  12. ... not really... the whole point of saying it is meaning he is rarely fit, but when he plays he's great. Pretty much the opinion of almost all Newcastle fans. But I won't spoil your shit stiring fun.
  13. Agreed, ask any Fulham fan if they would swap their last decade of football for ours. Some of you whippersnappers don't even know how good you've got it. How is that in any way relevant? [/anti whoosh shield] The fact remains, Roeder had decisions to make today, and once again, as has been the case many times this season, he clearly got them all wrong.
  14. Hadn't seen these three goals before:
  15. Well suprise surprise... once again when Roeder's hand is not forced by injuries/suspensions etc and he has to make decisions himself, it all goes tits up. Nice one. Onyewu seemed to do okay, just put in a decent shift... kind of refreshing in a way I just want him and Taylor to be the central pairing in defense until the end of the season. Seems like the totally obvious way to go....
  16. Don't need new players, Carr is back to the form of his life.
  17. More comical defending. Bramble is getting turned by his man on almost every occasion. Good save by Harper in the end.
  18. Nope. Can't see us getting an explanation either. Which is annoying.
  19. Carr getting nutmegged and raped by Diop for the goal. Too easy for Fulham. Great stuff to have Carr and Bramble in the side! Top marks Glenda.
  20. Complete fuck up by Bramble... his first touch set up Helgusson, Bramble put his arm accross to stop him, but the Helgusson didn't half make a meal of it. Never a red. Edit: i'm a little late Milner off the line, and now McBride 2-0
  21. Oh dear, we seem to have gone into that mode where we pass the ball to each other when the other bloke is not looking. Losing it way too much.
  22. So Carr, Bramble in the side and Solano on the bench? I was hopeful for a draw on this one, but seeing as Roeder has been making some of his magic managerial decisions, then a defeat looks more likely now.
  23. Chopra never got a decent run of games in the side, which made his dismisal unfair. We should have shipped the other "back up striker" to play in the Championship instead.
