got it in one.

People who know what it takes to be WINNERS, will tell you he was a waste of space.

"A treat for everyone" ? First time I set eyes on him I thought he was a lazy, inconsistent arsehole that should have never got anywhere near SJP.

Along with letting Venison go, and Fazackerly, Keegans biggest mistake by a millions miles.

Legend my arse. I could shoot the fucker, not a bad idea actually seeing as he spent his time shooting guns for some reason ..........

I despise him, and his type, almost as much as clueless Souness, and thats saying something.

Asprilla had all the tricks and non of the application.

IIRC he only scored 9 goals for us.

Piss Poor.

18. 9 in Europe, 9 in the league.

Three things immediately spring to mind when I think of Tino.

1. His first game for us when he came off the bench at the smellnet, turned their fullback inside out and crossed for Steve Watson to score ;)

2. Waving the corner flag at 'the corner'.

3. Shaking his hand outside SJP. He's one of these people who has a weak-as-piss handshake - ugh! :(

Well in my book Faustino is a legend. Gun toting, porn star dating mad Columbian genius. Thats what its all about for me. The shirt on the corner flag is the most I have ever enjoyed myself at the match.

I realise my book is the "Spongebob Almanac of accepting MEDIOCRITY and not demanding SUCCESS" but hey ho, watcha gonna do?

Good in Europe, poor domestically. Some great moments but not a legend for the toon.

Agree, he was an entertainer at times but didn't delive anywhere near enough when it mattered, week in and week out.

29622[/snapback]

.... and if you don't do this, you are indeed a heap of shit

He was as inconsistent as Robert, maybe Robert got away with it more since he plays winger, Asprilla was a good finisher on his day but then again so is Ameobi.

You've hit the nail on the head. They're almost identical. Both struggled in the Premiership, both excelled in Europe, and both should have done/ be doing a lot better.

Yet one is considered a hero, and the other one is "crap".
