I've never seen that Jackie Wilson video but I'm very familiar with the song. When I bust moves to it, my moves are almost identical except I haven't mastered that move he does from 1:30 onwards, I will though.

Any advice on how to pull it off will be much appreciated.

TIA

I don't know the singer, I don't know the title. The song is by a woman with a powerful voice and could be something like Your love lifts me higher and higher , its very Whitney Houston-ish [prob stronger vocal] I have an mp3 format of it which I played to the iphone number. I have tried searching for this song, including some site which identifies songs a few years ago but drew a blank there too.

load the mp3 upto fileshare and give us a listen then

how do I do that ?

I could email it to you ?

no, it isn't Jackie Wilson !!!!!!!

Blimey, donkeys years old that man :D

Incidentally, there is another song from a film starring Shannon Doherty that I saw years ago with a song that sounds like Madonna that I would like to know, I'll have a look for it I think I've seen it as a .wmv file somewhere

Don't recognise the singer, and the only Google hits I can find for the lyrics are Happy Hardcore versions:

http://www.happyhardcore.com/records/recor...rdtracksid=5462

http://www.rave.hu/dalnez.php?id=42

So I assume this is the original version of a song that got raved up at some point, but I have no idea beyond that. Curiouser and curiouser. :D

i have it because I used to tape lots of stuff from VHF radio, and sometimes started the tape if I liked the beginning of a song. This is such a song, which is why the beginning is missing, and the DJ didn't say at the end what it was :D

Maybe you could ask in the YouTube comments if anyone knows who recorded the original....

Sorry, I just assumed from your choice of music that you were a fudge packer. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I can't believe you've managed to break the internet btw, I didn't think it was really possible any more. Can't find the original of this anywhere, and it's freaking me out.

It was Joe Nye for Unation

http://www.discogs.com/Unation-Higher-And-...release/1808987

http://cgi.ebay.com.my/MCA-UK-SAMPLER-CD-V...id=p4634.c0.m14

I emailed the guys who did the remix and they got back to me today, thanks to Colin Meon for the info:

It even has percussion by Talvin Singh. Looks like their mix engineer did the Roxette albums. their gitarist works on the Robbie Williams live stuff, the drummer (one of them) did the drums for tears for fears and Sephen Kane now works with Daniel Davoli (spelling?) who was in black box.

We did it in 2003 or so and then remixed it this year, both without any original bits.
