Sooooo difficult that one. I'm in the camp that thinks another relegation would destroy us, however any prospect of the evil fat one fucking off does have it's appeal. I'm afraid I'd have to abstain at this time because at the moment I really can't decide what's worse for the club.

Relegation is the obvious end game of Ashley’s cost cutting strategy, plus we’d cost less to buy as Championship club, in theory leaving the next owner with more money for rebuilding. So yes, if relegation meant getting shot of the fat man I'd take it.

Ashley bought the club on a whim he thought other millionaires own football clubs so i will get one. He stuck a pin in a map and we drew the short straw.

To be totally fair the finances of the club were in dire straits and there is a very good chance we would have gone bankrupt. Ashley has largely sorted this out and has put a lot of his own money in, if it were you would yo have done the same?

BUT As to where he has gone wrong well where do you begin no point in repeating it all as we all know the answers to that one. He should have bought in local experience somebody or some group that knew the club or as many of us want bought in supporters groups.

Instead he just bought the club and went into everything blind and the consequences have been well we all know the answer to that one as well.

If he has a shred of decency he should sell the club as soon as TO SOMEBODY WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING or let a group like NUST in to tell him what to do before its too late.

I reckon we will JUST avoid rellegation this time round because there will be three teams worse but i am not putting any money on it and i reckon if we do stay up this season then we will definatly go down next season.

We have now got a team that would struggle in the Coca cola league let alone the championship. If any of the money from Andy Carrols transfer is spent it will be on unknown foreign players or has been / reject players the likes of Arsenal or Manure dont want lets face it they arent going to sell us a decent player thats our job to sell to them Bellamy Milner etc. We have NO chance of getting a replacement of Carrolls standard unless we can find an up and coming player in the lower leagues.

PLEASE let there be somebody out ther who can rescue our club.

Bearing in mind that they've got themselves into a shit-load of debt trying to organise an advertising campaign, I can't see any prospective owner knocking their door down for business advice.

I bet there isn’t another club in the PL that has a lower net spend on squad strengthening than us this season. And we’re not the only club carrying significant debt.

Our best first choice players (Barton, Colo, Enrique, Jonas, Harper, Krul, Taylor, Carroll while he was here, Shola) are either hangovers from the Fat Sam era when we still spent proper money; or players who were on the clubs books before Ashley arrived . We are essentially living off the benefits of buying quality three years ago. Shopping in the bargain bin has been a hit and miss affairs and there’s only so long we can buck the odds. Unless we start behaving like a PL club that pulls in 50,000 punters it’ll take a minor miracle to avoid a return to the championship.

Better to get it over with and get shot of Ashley than stumble through the next few seasons like a pissed bloke looking for an ally to piss in.

Read today that Everton have gone five or six transfer windows without a net spend.

Sounds plausible. Might be why they’re three points off the relegation zone. They’re a good example. Moyes is an astute manager who has been bucking the trend but eventually a lack of investment will take its toll. The difference between them and us is they are a stable club with a good manager, whereas we are in a constant state of turmoil and being managed by some bloke dekka reportedly met at a casino.

Exactly. Moyes has gone above & beyond in terms of buying and developing Championship players to replace other players shipped out at huge profit. But eventually even the best manager (& his scouts) will end up with a dearth of talent and results on the pitch will reflect that.

cock face, i will hunt you down , cunt

You tell me to fuck for no apparent reason. Wrongly assume I’m one of the many supporters who appeared post 1992 and then go all Rambo when I respond in kind. Ever considered anger management?
