We've had some pleasant little blips since then, but on the whole its been downhill. We need to to something drastic to get things movung in a positive direction again. Howaythelads 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 Had he spent the Owen and Luque money on perhaps 5 ~£5m players, earned his wages by managing Bellamy and Robert, plus kept hold of Hughes, I reckon we'd be doing pretty well to be honest. That would have given him 6 extra players in the squad to choose from. Egotistical twát never thought of that though, did he? The man's a wanker, end of. To have spent £50m and then claim we still need 6 players shows just how fcuking incompetent this bloke is. Still, he has his players and he's been given time, so some people are happy. I know you've had it in for Souness from the off, I just meant you didn't make the specific point I made about him having it on for them two (feel free to point out my joke wasn't funny though ). Anyway, I've never wanted Souness myself although I confess I sat on the fence initially since I knew we were stuck with him for a while.
