No matter the make up of the team we've always been fucking useless at them. Disappointed in the side tonight, after the first half most of them looked like they were shattered, think Ritchie needs a few games off as he's looked shattered the last few matches. Was it a case of giving the reserve keeper a run out in the cup? That's okay if you're regularly winning trophies but when you're us you need to be playing your strongest keeper in every match. Thought Hull were absolutely terrible; some decent finishing from our lot, better defending/keeping/game management for their equaliser and some belief in the shootout and we'd have gotten through with ease. Howay 12496 Posted November 29, 2016 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Maybe it would be worth getting an attacking midfielder in January, we've had a lot of games this season where we dominate but we are missing that final link up between the 30 yard range and getting the ball to our forward. Tonight was another example as we had players just smacking it from range. Genuinely hope that's the last of the Sels we have to be subjected too, our team looks a lot shakier whenever he plays. While the players deserve some blame for the goal his parry was tragic and his early dive when Snodgrass was running into the box late in the match was shite and he was extremely lucky Snodgrass was knackered. Gayle's shooting was a nightmare in all, Ritchie was poor (as I say he must need a rest or something), sloppy from a lot of the rest of the team.
