I'm chuffed....I wouldn't consider myself a Star Wars fanatic by any stretch, but I'd rather have the films as they were originally released.

Just as I don't want a Jive Bunny remix of Sgt Pepper's.

Aye, Hard Day's Night - maybe

How do you know films are shit before you watch them out of interest?

133795[/snapback]

Past form, criticism, trailers.

Doesn't always work. I hated Clockwork Orange, Brazil and Bladerunner to name a few which others say are the greatest films ever, but I generally end up watching films with something about them to enjoy.

For shame.

You need a better book tbh.

Bladerunner looks occasionally lush and I think it's just not my bag. But I can't fathom ANYONE enjoying Brazil, it amazes me how much love it gets.

I saw Bergerac as Leontes in The Winters Tale at Stratford many moons ago.

Looked a bit out of his depth without Charlie Hungerford carrying him tbh.

The one with the Dickie Davies grey streak of hair. A quick check reveals she was in Dr. Who.

Ahhh. I fancied her on screen daughter. Gemmill had a thing for Beppe though so I hear.

No. You're not the one that "made Eastwood look so fine". You're the one that's grateful that he does.

Can't stand Star Wars think its' fucking shite!

You weren't even born when the last of the first trilogy came out though so I don't blame you. Back to the Future's probably more your thing.
