Was reading the thread on there about 'Mags in the ground'. One says they hope they got chinned by the Burton fans (except they didn't, because Burton have no reason to hate us and seem to have been loving it) then another says he was brave staying in the away end until another points out there's footage on twitter of the same bloke singing Newcastle songs outside the ground. I think all the hoolie stuff is pathetic but it's fucking hilarious how there's barely a thread on there without a few of them piping up about how much damage they'd have done if they'd been there why x, y or z happened then there's a Newcastle fan at the game, ripping the piss then doing the same outside the ground on the day they get relegated to the third tier and absolutely nowt happened to him2 points

I'm agnostic on the monarchy's cost-benefit ratio and I've nowt much against the royals as people (except Charles, he seems like a wazzock), but any member of the public who waits outside a hospital while one of them is in there popping out a sprog wants their hard drive looked at.2 points

I state quite categorically, for the avoidance of doubt, that I am absolutely elated Sunderland have been relegated for the second season running. The suffering engendered by every single one of those 6 shameful defeats in a row by them was worth it, just to be able to laugh loudly and uproariously at their fate. In all seriousness, I hope the club goes out of business and that they reform in the Durham Alliance with Jack Rodwell as player manager.2 points

Bobby Madeley's inability to referee our games with any lack of bias is becoming embarrassing now. When the fourth official is even agreeing with Rafa, then you know it goes beyond simple incompetence. He should have been blacklisted after the Coloccini debacle in the derby and his failure to spot two handballs, a blatant second booking, a penalty and a handful of completely cynical fouls makes him Uriah Rennie-esque in his hatred for Newcastle United. Other than that, I could fucking throttle Perez. I'm not sure he's reached Laurent Robert levels of frustrating but he's not far off.1 point

So apparently I’ve tuned into an Arsene Wenger tribute show rather than the build up to the Newcastle game.1 point

Like others on here,I wasn't aware we'd beat them 5 in a row until the local media pointed it out prior to the 6 in a row game. As for the hooligan posts, where were they on 27th March 1970.1 point

1-1 draw I reckon. Combination of Slim shady not being match fit and Sam Allardyce wanting , more than anything, to not-lose to Newcastle. As if that proves anything. The fat cunt.1 point

Given the 6 in a row papered over the cracks long enough for them to get into this state I'd say it was a price worth paying1 point

From the BBC Former Manchester City and Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell remains under contract and, although his salary also recedes, it still totals upwards of £40,000 per week. By contrast, the average salary of a League One player is between £1,700 and £2,500.1 point

I bought this Much prefer playing it on a handheld to sitting in front of my PC - can play it on the sofa or on my bed, etc. Will be great for air and train travel.1 point

They will struggle massively to get back up, they are a small club which had to pay over the odds for players to go to when they were in the premiership. They are not a Leeds or a Villa or other club of that ilk, also I honestly think their academy will suffer to attrcat players due to the drop.1 point

The weirdest part of that is they’d spent years previous trying to cling to Man Utds coat tails, becoming a place for soon to be retired has beens and the lesser academy graduates to get paid well more than they were worth. Then in their complete obsession to be a part of something in football they gave it big licks to Man Utd fans in a moment that had nothing to do with SAFC, in fact they hadn’t even ‘done a part’ in it as Man Utd beat them. Forever spoiling their image as proper canny and classy fans to Man Utd fans, a title they have a pathetic desire to get from any fan base they can. Meanwhile I still think Man Utd fans are tossers and couldn’t give a fuck what they think of NUFC, it is funny that they’re also piling onto the tramps mind.1 point
