He made a lovely comment in one interview when he said that when the takeover happened he told his Dad that was his chance gone for playing for NUFC. 3 Months later and he signed. The most startling thing about this is he would have signed for Bruce and Ashley.

I always thought there was a in player in him under Bruce. He wasn't even making the squads at one point. Its amazing how some of these players have flourished under Howe. What a coach. He gets every last drop out of them.

The only difference I see here is that the VAR official called the goal and the on field ref misinterpreted the communication and restarted the game. The rest of the other 14 apologies are VAR officials actually just getting the decisions wrong. -
I hope we go guns blazing at them but I think we have to be a bit cautious of the counter. They’ll enjoy the open spaces. Almiron is going to have to work is balls off to help Trippier. Same for Gordon with Burn. Shame Big Joe isn’t fit as he’d help over that side.

I think they’ll stick with both. he is basically playing Amarabat as an inverted full back. They aren’t good enough to do it and it’s showing. Hopefully he is pig headed enough to carry on doing it.
