  1. Is this Nolan's best goal scoring season in his career?
  2. on hindsight now, Nolan was a pretty good signing for us last season! We must have been thinking ahead to the CCC even back then!
  3. I know! Thanks Kevin for the link! I was thanking Geordie Lad for something else!
  4. Yes, I have two working: http://www.nufcradio.tk/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/5livesportsextra Now using the more biased but lesser quality nufcradio.tk stream
  5. Thanks Geordie Lad The Radio 5 Live link is the best one at the moment and that Justin TV was a scam
  6. I do find it a bit frustrating that we play a different team away from home. I guess we can't complain as we are where we are, but it seems CH goes to get a draw with the hope of a sneaky win, rather then the "lets trounce them" when we play at home. By the way, who is the missing player tonight?
  7. Fucking hell Barrack Road. Give the guy a break will you? Who cares about what happened at Villa last season now? That was our fault, not theirs and the guy came on here wishing us all the best. Jesus Jones... By the way, thanks for the well wishes Messenger. Most of us appreciate it!
  8. the commentator said Hughton will be furious as its another late goal we have conceded recently. When was the last time we let in a late goal?
  9. yes, Soccernet just updated showing Enirque is out. Apologies about that! Wish we had a stream...
  10. Enrique does start.... Kadar in for Simpson
  11. Not every goal keeper is perfect and i still think Harper is a great shot stopper.
  12. Well said. I'll admit [before accadacca etc come on again asking who disagreed with him] that I am massively, massively surprised by how we have done. I thought morale would be rock bottom having seen this sort of thing before - which I have also admitted - not to mention as you say we lost/sold ALL our best players, bar 2. Which only spells out the gulf between the premiership and this league ie Division 1 and division 2, which is miles bigger than it used to be. Its not all over yet, but a win on monday will pretty much make the rest of the games a formality. Next summer and next season good old Mike will lose what support he has re-gained IMO, but enjoy the summer while we can. I'm not so sure we did sell our best players last season. I still see it that we sold the primadonnas who never really showed that they wore the shirt with pride. OK, maybe Beye but Martins (super frustrating), Owen (less said the better), Duff (never showed it for us), Viduka (well past his prime) and Bassong (who was good but I don't miss him) I don't miss any of them and I think our current squad is better now then it was when we went down (Best aside). Passion, commitment, desire and team spirit. All of which was missing last season. Put it like this, if we don't buy in the summer, I don't see us going down next season from the PL. It won't be pretty, but we won't go down. the situation within the club, the change in manager ie the loss of Keegan and the circumstances, all contributed to the poor performance of some of those players. I argued at the beginning of LAST season, that if the owner had even just backed KK moderately well, and kept the players he wanted, we would have been knocking on the door of europe. Instead, he sold some of the high earners, and some players who would still be playing in the first team now ie Beye, Bassong, Milner, Given, zoggy and would all have been major figures in a team of Keegans. We would not have been relegated if we had kept those players. None of their direct replacements are as good IMO. Enrique [best left back in the league by miles and the best left back we have had at Newcastle in decades if not the best I have ever seen], Steven Taylor, Carroll, Guittierez, Smith in the holding role added to those sold players would have been the backbone of a good premiership squad/team today if they were all still here. Yes, now I totally agree with that. Well said!

  14. did the commentator just say about Routeledge "on loan from QPR"? We bought him didn't we?
  15. This is a very strong team we have put out and I am confident of a win. Guthrie on the score card and Lovenkrands. 2-0
  16. I really can't believe what am reading on this forum lately. All i seem to see is a lot of hypocrites. Barton got so much grief when his 'rocky' moments happened, some calling for NUFC to get rid of him. The boo's, the talk on forums etc And now its Carroll's turn by twating Saylor and breaking his jaw? You's should all be behind Saylor and be giving Carroll shit, not backing him. It seems we're the laughing stock of the nation. Riera expresses his opinion on Liverpool and is transfer listed immediately. Carrol smacks Saylor and keeps him out for the rest of the season, and people are glad he starts? Some need to sort themselves out. I honestly hope someone crunches Carroll tonight and ends his career, because personally I dont want him at the club. And for those who think they'd rather have Carroll over Saylor? I think some have been blinded by top spot and success and forgotten that we're in the fizzy pop league. So how is this different to when Bowyer twatted Dyer on the pitch? Did we all hate him and want him out of the club? I don't recall such hatred. Carroll is just a kid remember. Stories like this make Newcastle the soap opera it is. Who cares, lets just win this shite arse league and get back to where we should be.
  17. online radio coverage here http://www.nufcradio.tk/
  18. These stories are just to stir up trouble before we even get promoted. Complete nonsense. CH has brought us this far and created some team spirit and stability. Give him a chance in the Prem at least to continue that!
  19. Maybe it really is Alan Smith?!
  20. Any live radio streams for the game tonight?
