I think we have been superb today. Carroll especially showing incredible maturity and composure. I think an outsider would be shocked to know we have only just come up on this evidence. Hopefully when Tiote comes in (and possibly Ben Arfa) it will keep us in good shape for the season.

I've got a friend of a friend who has a directors box at OT so he gave me an invite last week! Can't wait to see the boys in action but at the same time, I am a little frustrated knowing we are likely to get trounced and I have to witness it. Every time I go and see us play, we always lose! Never even seen a draw! A repeat of two seasons ago will be very welcome (not the relegation part!)

My whole family support Arsenal. I'm the only black sheep in supporting the Toon (they never will get it!) but I do follow Arsenal as a result. This story was doing the rounds on Sunday that Joe Cole was signing for them. I heard today on TalkSport it was a done deal. I think its a good signing for them as he is very versatile. The Fabregas thing is just ridiculous and he needs to go but Joe Cole is not a replacement for him. I see Arsenal changing to a 4-4-2 to combine Van Persie and Chamack and Joe Cole would fit nicely into that.

I honestly don't think we will lose these players (ok, maybe Saylor) but I am betting Jonas, Colo and Enirque will be with us next season.
