Why would he have done that when Santon and Colo are injured and Ben Arfa needs to be eased back in? The possible argument is Haidara over Jonas. Probably would have been a safer bet.

He pretty much did on Sunday and that resulted in the worst defeat of the season! Anyway, pointless talk of 'who would we replace Pardew with' as he isn't going anywhere and nor should he. He will learn a lot from this season and hopefully he will grow as a manager and grow us as a team next season. There is no point in going through managers every 5 minutes. If stability means the odd wobbly season to get there, then we have to take the good with the bad. I've hated this season, but I accepted it in the long run.

Totally agree on this. Only Newcastle could be so random. I've actually got to the point now this season that when we lose, it doesn't even hurt anymore. I just laugh, call them a bunch of overpaid twats and move onto the next instalment of this crap season. I had to do a double take today that May is fast approaching and for once i thought "thank fuck for that". I can't wait for this season to end. The manager doesn't excite me and the players don't excite me (Ben Arfa aside). I'm more excited about the snooker for the next 2 weeks so go figure!

Is it just me or did Ben Arfa look more beefed up then normal? I also thought the same of Williamson. Cracking to see Barfa back and he looked a lot better then he did in Russia. With him and Marveaux together, there are zero relegation fears as i thought they played brilliant tonight.

The build up to this game and now the game itself have totally passed me by as I knew this result and performance was inevitable. They honestly don't care. Must be an easy life for them being crap at their jobs and picking up a small fortune in return. Im falling out of love with what was once a game.
