  1. Cant see Everton or Villa having the same impact this time around, Spurs looking good.
  2. Gordon Strachan left celtic to try and get a side that could win the champions league so he is not going to come here, so out of those it has to be Hughton.
  3. ROFLMAO !!! Could be left with a thin squad!!! Are you for fuckin real !!??? WE HAVE A THIN SQUAD MORON - WE HAD ONE LAST YEAR AND ITS EVEN THINNER NOW !!! Got me? GOOD ... 46? We have a thin squad, but we're still winning. Stop putting the hope down you depressing bastard. Its not being down beat its being real, We need people like you keeping moral high and if things go well on Monday we will all be as happy as you but for now ill keep my feet on the ground thanks
  4. Its the weekend im sure you will be back to class on Monday but for now relax its home time for fuck sake.
  5. I think the same although now we are o.k it only takes a few bad weeks or more players gone and its back against the walls again, but in fairness i hope i am wrong and proven to be (fingers crossed)
  6. Ashley will NOT sell the club until he can get more money than anybody wants to pay for it just now, same shit will happen next year, i think he just likes all the coverage as he has no feelings towards fans or club its just money money money was never cut out to be a chairman especially at the Toon.
  7. The only source Jacqui Oatley has is my cock. And he's not far wrong.
  8. Not on shrooms but have had maybe 1 to many but i get the feeling that Ashley is here to stay for now atleast, and in past experience he has tried to please the fans(although then shit on them in next steps) i think he will appoint Shearer to pleases us but keep team to sell for more cash after hopefull promotion.
  9. I dont know if any of you have watched that football league programme on bbc 1 but lady who reads out the texts recons she has a source that has said Ashley is going to keep the toon for this sesson as they have made such a good start, although we all new that anyways i think he might get Shearer in to manage, i just have this feeling thats whats going to happen.
  10. I really do hope this happens, but still wont believe it till i see it.
  11. Are you still breathing mate? It's not our player's fault that Guti can't fucking pass or cross you moron. its known as movement off the ball, if you actually played any football instead of wanking off in front of your computer all day to pictures of your players you'd understand that. at barca, he'll be surrounded by players who are actually making cuts, showing, creating space. He'll be playing short, one touch passes. In case you haven't noticed, he does just fine when he plays for Argentina, hmmmm I wonder why that is. Its all good, continue to hate all your players that actually have some skill. Maybe one day if more people like you are in charge of your club you'll be filled with 5 nicky butts and 5 alan smiths in the outfield. So instead of just wanting flair, skill and attacking football (and preferring to lose 3-4 than win 1-0) we now don't want creative players and just want Butt's and Smith's do we? Nice to know, you fucking idiot. The case is that Jonas is the type of player we want but he lacks in the final third where in that type of player needs to be his strength not weakness as most fans would admit he can beat a player and then doesnt know what to do after that, which for an attacking mid doesnt look great on the C.V.
  12. I think your right i may need to calm down, to emotional this evening.
  13. I cant believe that Barca dude thinking just because Jonas may have better quality around him he is suddenly going to be fit to play in one of the best teams in the world, OMG has he seen the long haired fucker play football, Never scored for us, never put in a killer pass, never put in a good cross, and his ball skills have only looked better in this league, i say let him go and cash in on a player that is never going to be worth the wages he recieves, i am getting to the point now i dont care who is the chairman or manager i just want to see who is willing to be as faithfull to our club as we the fans are, I for one will stick by the team whoever we have left in a weeks time although I hope greedy Ashley goes and big Al is appointed we need to show the world and idiots like him that this club will keep going. CMON THE MAGS
  14. Now we finally have a day for when we are going to here whats happening, i fear that it is going to be that the club is being taken off the market and from reading this havnt changed my mind. SKY SPORTS...... Newcastle United are to make an announcement on Monday over ongoing efforts to sell the club. Owner Mike Ashley was expected to decide by the end of this week whether to accept one of the bids currently on offer or continue running the Magpies for another season. However, talks with local businessman Barry Moat and two other consortia are continuing as Ashley looks to strike a £100million deal for the club he bought for £134.4million just over two years ago. While the club's ownership has been up in the air, Newcastle have been unable to make significant moves in the transfer market, with a loan deal for Manchester United's Danny Simpson their only summer signing so far. A decision must therefore be made soon for them to bring in any more new additions before the transfer window shuts. Manager decision In recent months, Ashley has been the target of angry Newcastle fans, who are hoping for a change of ownership and the installation of a new manager. Many favour Alan Shearer, who failed to save the Magpies from relegation in a short-team stint at the end of last season, and he would be appointed by several of the competing consortia. Should Monday's announcement be that Ashley has decided to take the club off the market for the second time after a lengthy - and ultimately futile - search for a buyer, he will then face a decision over his manager. It is understood Ashley believes greater managerial experience is needed, and the Magpies have sounded out a series of potential bosses to succeed Chris Hughton. The caretaker boss has received the backing of several players following a positive start to their Championship campaign and has insisted he is happy to remain in charge for as long as his services are required.
  15. ssn already have said announcment on monday
  16. To be honest at the moment what player in there right mind wants to come here at the moment, like you have said he would have been offered pennys and it just shows the chance of a take over looks less likely, atleast county are trying to build there club not take it apart brick by brick.
  17. The announcent on monday is obviously going to be that Ashley is taking the club of the market if he was going to sell it would be done by now, if its any other news then id be very very surprised.
  18. As said we have had a good start but anybody that actual watches football knows that it only takes a few injuries or a few bad games and it could turn from there, although Obi has a couple of good games i really cant see him scoring a hat full
  19. No agenda. The rest of your thread is there for all to see. I have pointed this out already. If you didn't have an agenda, why did you say the stuff backed up your pre-conceived notions of NUFC fans then? Especially when those views were not in the least way representative of the views on here? What I said was most fans that I had come across in my town. Many of them up here are arrogant and your club for that very reason is not popular amongst supporters of many clubs in Scotland. Sad for your club and the numerous good supporters you most likely have, but nonetheless true in my experience. As for an agenda I think it is fairly obvious that I don't have one. What would I gain from that? You seem to have very selective reading. Did you not read these bits? "I'm sure many of your lads and lasses are dead on. I am no bellend or glue sniffer and I won't tar you all with the same brush. As I said I wanted to have a chat with your lads and I came across a post that was disrespectful and incorrect. As I said on my post on our forum unfortunately a large propotion of your fans in Scotland seem to be of the same ilk." I've met many good Newcastle fans, as I have fans of every club. However as I said, many of your support in my experience, and especially in my home town are of the same mentality as Stevie. You are entitled to think what you like mate but I have no agenda. Fairly obvious you wanted to portray us in a certain way on your board. Anyone reading your thread on your board can see that. I'm not bothered to be honest. I don't have a view on Sheffield Wednesday fans as I've only met about 3 of them in my life. As for "You seem to have very selective reading" Mr. Kettle, meet Mr. Pot. Think what you like I don't care. No agenda. The rest of your thread is there for all to see. I have pointed this out already. If you didn't have an agenda, why did you say the stuff backed up your pre-conceived notions of NUFC fans then? This bloke thinks I'm a sweaty because I have Arthurs Seat in my pic. Look mate if I was from Edinburgh I wouldn't be supporting an English club because David Hurst or Ginola was my hero as a kid, I'd support Hibs or Hearts, because they'd be my local clubs, and proper fans support their local clubs. I'm not a proper fan now. Do you not have any Newcastle fans elsewhere around the country? I take it they're not proper fans too? Well, all I'll say is from my point of view I can't get my head round the fact how you can passionately get involved with a football club many miles from your area. To be fair to our KBJ's at least they've stayed with the team many of them so fair play to the odd one. Like imagine for you Hearts played Sheff Wed in the Champions League Final, how could you support Sheff Wed, when your home city will be set alight if the jambos win it? I am originally from Hexham and supported Newcastle since i can remember as do my family and friends i now live 7 hours drive away in the west coast of Scotland, I travel to watch games around 1 a month and read News stories, forums, and spend countless hours keeping up with my team (as the wife says obsesive)as i say once a mag always a mag just cant help it.
  20. If i was Moyes i would take the cash i dont think Lescott is all that great, If he leaves it any longer all the good centre backs that might go will have already gone just hope its not Taylor, Tell Moyes he can have Colo for 10 mil.
  21. One of the best in this league i think if Taylor there we can afford to have another not so good and get away with it e.g Colo or even inexperieced Kadar, Taylor will be solid.
  22. Hopefully Taylor wont go i dont think we can afford to lose another defender even if we do get Sol
  23. How many more bidders are going to come out of the woodwork just as one bid is looking more likely you then here of another interested party as ive said this is all rubbish so Ashley can keep fans of his back while he makes a profit of any player he can then take the club of the market as soon as transfer period is up, I also think he is using all this to become well known even if it is making the club a complete laughing stock.
