  1. Dark Knight A film worthy of the original, and worthy of all the high praise. Excellent.
  2. His career went down hill after he starred in Gladiator tbh.
  3. I saw the press conference on CNN and it was very unconvincing, and the photographs they producing were even less convincing than the first one.
  4. Shola had Ameobi on his back despite that being the last thing people referred to him by. His shoulders were not wide enough for FUCKING USELESS TWAT tbh
  5. having said that, I'm sure Deco will have DECO on the back of his shirt despite being called Anderson Luis de Souza.
  6. Jordi Cruyff wanted to do that but wasn't allowed. So did Hasslebaink, he used to wear Jimmy when he played in Portugal.
  7. Ocean Colour scene - The day we caught the train.
  8. Canny first comment there: "Interesting. Imagine his toilet regime after breakfast - Lots of straining and grunting. Probably a good workout. No doubt he then needs to refuel immediately to make up for the burnt calories during defecation (or BCDF as it's described in elite athlete circles)." Do you think he's a sitter or a stander ?
  9. I'm highly skeptical but it seems madness to be calling a press conference to the worlds media if all you have is a 7'7" monkey suit.
  10. Well despite the bad picture we'll probably find out either way tomorrow when more evidence is unveiled at the official news conference.
  11. I've not seen Chewbacca since Star Wars Episode III
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/...im-Bigfoot.html Amazing photo of creature hunters claim is 'Bigfoot' By Niall Firth Last updated at 6:02 PM on 14th August 2008 For years the Bigfoot has remained an elusive enigma, capturing the imagination in the same way as the Loch Ness Monster or the Yeti. But today, two professional Bigfoot hunters claim to have found the body of the mythical creature - and say they are storing it in their freezer. According to a press release posted online, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer claim to have found the animal in the woods of northern Georgia, in the southern United States. The pair say that the male creature is over seven feet tall, weigh more than 35 stone, and has reddish hair and black-grey eyes. photo The creature is also said to have flat feet and a footprint that spans over 40cm. However, doubt has been cast on the pair's claims as the body will not be unveiled at the press conference. Bigfoot Instead, a grainy photo has been released which has sparked massive interest - as well a fair amount of scepticism - across the internet. The link to the press release has seen such huge amounts of internet traffic it is no longer accessible. Expert Bigfoot tracker Tom Biscardi has been hunting the creature since 1971 and has told the Sydney Morning Herald that he is convinced the find is genuine. 'It's a huge situation for me after 35 years, because I've wanted to bring one back,' Mr Biscardi said. 'They showed me the body. They took me to the area where they found it - it took a day and a half to get there.' 'I got to be honest, when I first saw it I hated to see it in that state it was in. I wanted to capture one so the world could see it walking. 'I guess this is the next best thing for the time being,' he said. Mr Biscardi said that a video filmed by the two men the day they found the body showed at least 'three others walking upright like a man'. He is now co-operating with the two men in trying to capture another Bigfoot alive. 'We trekked in for a day a half - what kind of lunatic would be out here in a monkey suit? I saw the thing, I touched it,' Mr Biscardi said. 'They're fine guys, one works for the police department in Georgia, and the other was a correctional officer. They're pretty credible guys.' The Bigfoot, also known as a Sasquatch, is said to roam the forests of north-west America and some suggest that it may be related to the Asian Yeti, or Abominable Snowman. The Bigfoot first came to prominence in popular culture in 1967 when filmmakers Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin released a video which contained what they claimed was a genuine video of the mythical creature. Since then many have sought to debunk the myth saying the film clip simply shows a man in ape suit. To this day, no Bigfoot , living or dead, has ever been found.
  13. That's a cracking track, but I prefer the Lovemongers cover of it.

  16. Stoke City have put in a formal £2million bid for Newcastle defensive midfielder Abdoulaye Faye. Faye The 30-year-old former Bolton player is keen to move and revive his career after making just 22 appearances at Newcastle last season after joining in the summer for £2.5m. Stoke also have Amdy Faye on trial and are frantically trying to bolster their strike force after going cold on a move for Valencia striker Nikola Zigic and ruling themselves out of the running for Chelsea's Claudio Pizarro.
  17. The plot thickens: A body that may very well be the body of the creature commonly known as “Bigfoot” has been found in the woods in northern Georgia. DNA evidence and photo evidence of the creature will be presented to the worlds media in a press conference on Friday, August 15th from 12 Noon to 1:00pm at the Cabana Hotel-Palo Alto at 4290 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, California, 94306. The press conference will not be open to the public. It will only be open to credentialed members of the press. Here are some of the vital statistics on the “Bigfoot” body: *The creature is seven feet seven inches tall. *It weighs over five hundred pounds. *The creature looks like it is part human and part ape-like. *It is male. *It has reddish hair and blackish-grey eyes. *It has two arms and two legs, and five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot. *The feet are flat and similar to human feet. *Its footprint is sixteen and three-quarters inches long and five and three-quarters inches wide at the heel. *From the palm of the hand to the tip of the middle finger, its hands are eleven and three-quarters inches long and six and one-quarter inches wide. *The creatures walk upright. (Several of them were sighted on the same day that the body was found.) *The teeth are more human-like than ape-like. *DNA tests are currently being done and the current DNA and photo evidence will be presented at the press conference on Friday, August 15th. The creature was found by Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer (residents of Georgia) in the woods in northern Georgia. (The exact location is being kept secret to protect the creatures.) Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer will be flying in from Georgia to be at the press conference. Also present at the press conference will be Tom Biscardi, CEO of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. Whitton is a Clayton County, Georgia, police officer, who is currently on administrative leave after being wounded in the course of duty pursuing an alleged felon. Dyer is a former correctional officer. Whitton and Dyer are co-owners of bigfoottracker.com and Bigfoot Global LLC., a company that offers Bigfoot expeditions. Whitton and Dyer are working with Bigfoot hunter, Tom Biscardi, and Biscardi’s Searching for Bigfoot, Inc., to present and conduct the scientific study of the evidence and information on this body.
  18. Niall Quinn has given an insight into his ambition for Sunderland by insisting the club has the potential to compete with top-four clubs like opening day opponents Liverpool. And he says he would love to be the Black Cats chairman who increased the capacity of the Stadium of Light to the point where it was one of the biggest club grounds in Europe. Quinn (pictured) was speaking in Ireland ahead of a season which he hopes will see the club continue their swift upward trajectory in the game. And while he admits that the club is still a long way behind the likes of Liverpool who were able to attract and pay for £18million striker Robbie Keane, he sees the time when the gap will have substantially narrowed. Referring to his former Republic of Ireland international team-mate, Quinn said: "Of course I was envious about the signing – Robbie will be a big hit there "Liverpool are a few steps ahead of us at the moment. "But after Christmas last year we murdered their home attendances every week. "And if we keep progressing, if we get to the point down the line where we are knocking on the door to the Champions League, I would have to go to the investors and ask them to commit to a 60,000-seater stadium, to make us the second biggest club in England. "We had five steps planned when we took over as a board. "Step one was going up, Step Two was staying up, Step Three, where we're at now, was establishing ourselves in the Premier League, Step Four was competing for Europe and Step Five was aiming for Champions League football. "And if we get to Step Five, then I think we will at the stage where we are pushing to extend." Quinn believes the presence of Roy Keane is integral to the success of that plan. And even though his manager has yet to agree a contract extension beyond this current season, Quinn believes Keane is happy at Sunderland and shares the same belief in the potential of the club as his chairman. Quinn also said that the relationship between the pair is a successful and working one. He said: "We don't have to go out for meals with each other to tell each other how good we think each other is. "But I think he appreciates what I'm doing and I certainly appreciate what he's doing for Sunderland." Quinn raised eyebrows when he had the boldness, the nous and the negotiating skills to get Keane to commit to the stricken North East club as it languished at the foot of the Championship. Quinn said: "Roy brings something colossal to the party. "He lifted Sunderland just by association. The fact that he is also very good is a massive bonus. "It didn't surprise me that he was good, just how good. "I don't think he suddenly realised to be a different, calmer person. I think it was always there. "I think he now has the right vehicle, in Sunderland, to go out and conquer the quest inside of him."
