  1. You create nothing you get nothing. Under Pardew the team is at the mercy of shooters, not creators. Not enough clear chances for a couple of years now. Even when they finished fifth, they relied on the brilliance of basically two players that were playing out of their skins.

  2. I didn't say he does need to be a good tackler I was highlighting what he does / doesn't do compared to the others to arrive at why I think Anita should pip it.

Perhaps you can give your opinion as to why you think Sissoko should be in instead? What he offers that Anita doesn't?

    Height and strength?

  3. Chaps are sturdy coverings for the legs consisting of leggings and a belt. They are buckled on over trousers with the chaps' integrated belt, but unlike trousers they have no seat and are not joined at the crotch. They are designed to provide protection for the legs and are usually made of leather or a leather-like material. Therefore, I'm all for them.

  4. Won

£18.57 on Hull Draw No Bet,

    £20.50 on West Brom -1,

and £125 :gettin: from the following 4-way Acca; Birmingham (11/8), QPR (3/4), Watford (1/1), Brighton (1/1)

Do the right thing and give the money to Mike Ashley so he can buy players. Do it for the club, man!

  5. Seems like one thing hasn't changed from last season is the halftime talk.

So the answer is for the players to stay on the pitch during the break, as was suggested halfway through last season by one of the members here. :ninja:

  6. Was only able to watch the final 30 minutes of this game, and I\m probably stating what's been said many times already but I don't care. The team played well as a unit - didn't care much for Krul's fluff on that corner kick...and, Hatem Ben Arfa was Gold!!! GOLD! And Aushton Powvers, I lovsh Gooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllddddddddd. :jonas:

    Pimms o'clock ?

Yes, don't mind if I do. Thank You. :unsure2::dunno:

  8. How about putting Santon at LM/LW and moving Gutti in the middle as a ballplaying DM? Train Mbiwa at Lb ( he did look pretty good there last season), or just buy someone.

Anyway, Gutti seems like he's lost a step and, IMO need someone else out wide on the left that can create legitimate chances and score.

I would also like to see Ben Arfa in the middle as an ACM,

and find someone out wide right of course.

But I'm not the director or manager, so whatever!

  9. I've never been a fence sitter when it comes to Ashley, I've never hated anyone connected with football more in my life. He is laughing at us and making money while he does it. However, and I agree Pardew has been undermined, but to say his role in this shit is irrelevant is completely and utterly ridiculous. For starters his attitude when he gets interview "when the big claabs come sniffing abaht its difficuwt", I'm old school and no one representing Newcastle United should be suggesting we are not a big club. We're not a player anymore because we're no longer the third and fourth richest club in the country (as we were a decade ago), and I don't care what anyone says, that is Ashley's fault, it's as simple as that. He runs Newcastle United like Reggie Perrin run his empire, we're cheap, we have no class, nothing about the club has any class. We're not that much richer than a mickey mouse club like Everton or Sunderland now even.

Anyway, my main point is yes Pardew has had difficulties, but he's still a cunt, and he's an integral part of the problem. Removing the politics of the club for one minute, we've played 188 minutes of football this season and not had one shot on target. Yes it's the players fault, but remind me who has has 3 months to sort this team out to play some sort of effective football. Alan Pardew. There's a lot of thick people in football the same as there's a lot of intelligent people, but to play a style of play that involves ZERO movement is just unbelievable. Someone gets the ball and it's the most static team in English football down there. Someone gets the ball, and will look for the short pass, whereas a proper team has players running off the ball creating space all of the time. Shola and Cisse are a disgrace, but it's Pardew's job to organise them, and we'll be fucking shit till there's more movement, and lack of pace throughout the squad is a moot point because we have fast players. Fucking sick of it me. I'll probably get my season ticket taken off me because of a row with the steward yesterday and I don't care.

Great post McFaul. This is how I've felt since the very beginning as well and I've never been one to mince words about those two.

  10.

Who am I slagging off? I'm disagreeing with people for what I see as an over the top reaction to a draw.

If this were a "one off", as you said in a previous post, I would agree with you. But this is what we've seen last year and in preseason thus far. But unfortunately, those of us who have watched most of the games the past few seasons know it is the norm.
