Here is my question: If players we've signed recently like Bigi and Anita to name a few are not capable of controlling a midfield (which I don't believe), why are we signing such players? It's the style of play then isn't it? Then if we're going to just boot the ball to our CF's, then why not sign different types of midfielders? Bigger, stronger on the ball -stay back and hoof the ball? Every bit of it seems silly to me.

I'm more gutted about this game than any other this season only because this could have been avoided with some good signings. Not humongous money signings, just sensible...instead management singing the blues about not having any money! Poor chaps.
Poor FMA and Llammbbiass...I do feel sorry for them for all the money their not making off of our football club. They should have bought a fishing lodge. Good money in that, and less stressful!

Mike Ashley is down by about £140m and has taken nothing out. Llambias is paid a salary in line with what any other MD of a company of NUFC's size would be paid (about 3 weeks of Ba's wages).

To those who mentioned wages and how we can't compete with top clubs in the premiership, I say this. I don't believe a word that comes out of FMA or his right-hand man regarding money. They probably make more money than most of you think off the club. We, the fans are getting hosed.
You're telling me the club can't spend 15-20 million pounds for top notch players?! I don't buy the crap they try to spew out. It's all B.S.!

Pay Ba what he wants (nearly £5m a year) and Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Coloccini etc will all come knocking on the door asking for a raise.
You've then upped your wage bill by £30m a season and made the club unable to cover its costs.
Only a club in the Champions League could afford to pay Ba £90k a week. As much as Ba is playing superbly, we're quite right to stand firm on this one.
If that were the case, I'd let Cisse and Coloccini walk, possibly even Cabaye. Replace them with 1) A bigger physical CB, 2) A CF that can create and score - Cisse is a horrible passer, and 3) A bigger mf'er that can play in tiote's role, or create in the final third.
