1. Cleaning the cars for A1 Taxis as a boy. 2. Stacking shelves at Fine Fare as a youth. 3. Worked at a sign making factory. 4. Shot-blasting the International Space Station. 5. Re-pointing the Great Wall of China 6. Conducting a feasibility study on behalf of UNHCR for the transportation of refugees by pedillo. (and no, unlike Rob W, I did NOT climb chimneys as a small lad)

Afterwards on Irish TV they said it was within the rules but my understanding was that if you wanted to take it quickly you said so to the referee and then took the kick immediately, otherwise you waited for the whistle. Last night the kick wasn't taken immediately so I can see why Lille are so pissed off. That was my understanding too, you ask the referee if you can take it quickly and it was up to the opposition to be paying attention. I thought he then needed to signal or whistle though, which he didnt. The ref nods and its taken straightaway. Well, no arm in the air = illegal free kick Eh?? One arm in the air indicates an indirect free kick. The free kick last night was direct, therefore, no need to have an arm in the air. Can we remember someone doing this to us at the Leazes end when Pav was in goal many moons ago? I can't recall who we were playing. Oh, and the fencing in the pics earlier says everything to me. How many fences do we have in UK now???

Don't know how you come to that conclusion tbh It stems from the Uefa Cup Final against Porto in Seville. Around 20,000 went to Seville, ticket or not, which quickly grew to 40,000, then 60,000 and, believe it or not, the last figure I heard was 80,000. Probably an over-reaction on my part, but some 'tic fans would have you believe they were the best supporters that ever lived - a la citeh.

At the risk of appearing totally stupid, there aint a network icon on the status bar!!!! I've seen it before on the computers at work, but for some fuckin reason there aint one here!

Okay, I'll resurrect it to the religious theme before we go too far. Clever, eh? Maybe not.

Took Mrs hips to The Waterford Arms in Seaton Sluice for lunch yesterday. I had a haddock and chips which the fish was canny big and there was a generous portion of chips. However, it was about £7.50 for the pleasure We occasionally go to Kristians on the fish quay which is usually nice. (I can't recall the price) Anyone recommend anywhere for a good sit-down fish dinner??

Hey lad, if you fancy some practice for your possible future employment, I've got two letters I need posting but cannot be arsed to go the post office. You've got five minutes to respond. Failure to do so will result in me having to step out to the town centre.

You'd have think they'd have got over it by now! Reminiscent of HTT's comment about too much being made of Hitler's hatred of Jews Except I was joking. That was incredible though. "They totally overdid his hatred of the jews." How do you overdo 6 million dead jews, I wonder? Anyone replying to this with "put them on a higher gas mark" is fucking SICK btw! May the Lord have mercy on your deep-fried sole

Ah right. You can tell I'm not religious. It represents Jesus's 40 days in the wilderness though doesn't it? That ended on Palm Sunday didn't it? Are you sure? I was half right it seems. It does represent his 40 days in the wilderness. So Je suis (see an ancient thread) tried some time in sunlun, then?

tbh, I've never seen that film. Anyhoos, whose this 'Sprucet 78' character??? Male/Female?? Should I be getting ready to make my move on her? If it is female, I do hope the 78 doesn't refer to her age Maybe she's the chick from Toppo's pictures???
