Soooo, I jumped in with reference to Barney the dinosaur - which is a different kids programme, P/L. Never, mind. SHIT! I fuckin' KNEW when I was typing that crap that they would go and score I fuckin' HATE Bolton, with a passion C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Okay, me and the other half have decided to do a bit of touring (not a lot) of USA next year - probably June. Her mission for January is to check out some places/dates/costs etc etc. But can someone tell me if we need visas these days to visit?? I really want to go to Vegas, so how long do you recommend I stay for?? I also really want to go to San Francisco. Again, how long you recommend? Ideally, I would like to fly to New York first and travel on from there, but the distance seems excessive to Vegas. Is NY that good to 'fuck the expense' and go there first, regardless, or would that be better held off for another time? Anyone recommend places to go between Vegas and San Francisco? Unless someone can persuade me otherwise, I'm not too fussed about L.A. though. Thanks for any suggestions, help. Hey, anyone want to come?? We could get a bus!!
  6. Asprilla's Foreskin?? btw, thanks for the gen on the albums you've mentioned. I'll try and get a copy next time home to check out
  7. After the Sheff Utd game, I was absolutely petrified about our prospects of scoring goals; I reckoned we needed a big lad who could score goals and put himself about. Thankfully, we seem to have allayed my fears, somewhat, to the extent that we can be a bit more selective in who we bring in to play up front. I still reckon we need a powerful striker though, but one with a few more years left in him than someone as a panic measure, quick-fix solution I was advocating then. However, we might have a slight problem bringing in someone with a bit of quality. Any striker is going to wonder what the team formation will be at the start of next season, not just now. He will see Owen, Martins and himself as three first choice strikers to fill two places (Ameobi will be fourth choice, I have no doubts). Will he be up for the challenge, or just scared off a bit? Time will tell. btw, how powerful is this Klose chap? I've only seen a bit of tv footage from the W.C. so don't know a lot about him, though he looks really good in the clips I've seen. Oh, and a L.B please. Luque (£2m), Bramble (£1m) and maybe Emre (£7.5m) will be out in Jan imo.
  8. Merry Christmas, one and all But, what is all this 'cooking the turkey' on Christmas Eve rubbish?? Cooking the turkey on Chrismas Eve? On Christmas Eve, cooking the turkey?? Cold turkey on Christmas Day? Have you taken leave of your senses?? Are you mad?? Cold turkey?? Hmmmmm, you might as well have a tin of spam imco. Probably south of the river tradition
  9. Sad news I was just thinking about him yesterday, for some strange reason. I had planned to ask mrs hips if she could look out for some J.B. Greates Hits cd's. He couldn't half move, dat maan. I would think even better than me
  10. Lifetime membership of N-O ?????

I didn't say mrs hips' mate, 2Jags, I said colleague And nothing happened - FACT! - caus the hipster didn't accept the invitation Let's just say someone got a bit carried away, that's all. I may tell you a bit more if you ever come to a piss up; until then......
  12. That I will, Cath First game next time will be the Zulte Waregemmill game on Thur 22nd Feb and then the smog game on Sat 3rd March. Line them up, mine's a double My Birthday is that first one. I'll buy you a Vimto Looking forward to being a teenager??
  13. Brought up in Whitley, I used to go to the ice rink fairly regularly. Okay at it, but not the best. Anyway, true story. About 12 or 13, I took my girlfriend (she was a well-built lass 'up top' for her age - the reason she had the good fortune of the hipster stepping out with her ). We were sitting on the stands at the back of the ice rink 'getting it on' for a while, with some heavy snogging and me getting 'tops' After a while, I paused for breathe and looked up, only to discover we were sitting about five feet away from the bar window and there were two blokes standing looking at us, with their pints in their hands A quick exit

  15. This reminds me of something that happened to me many moons ago. We were playing Wolves at SJP, either Christmas Day or New Year's Day - I can't remember which. Anyway, I tootle off to Whitley train station, only to have forgotten that there was no fuckin' transport!!! So I'm standing there like a lemon, thinking what to do, when this bloke approaches and asks if I was going to the match (bet you Gemmill thought he was going to proposition me! ). So I said I was, and he then tells me he was a Wolves fan visiting relations up here, was in the same predicament that I was in but would take us both to town in his car if I showed him where to park. SORTED!!! Only thing is we lost 4 - 0 (might have been 4 - 1, but it's not important) so I had to suffer the pain even more all the way home in his car! Public transport sucks at times.
  16. Have a Merry Christmas, the lot of ya But please spare a thought, whilst you're with your family, friends and loved ones, for us poor *violins playing sombre music in the background* souls who are thousands of miles away from home. Have a drink for us, and have a lovely time. Maybe I will sunbathe tomorrow
  17. Any young, up and coming, left back would need his head examining if he didn't look upon NUFC as a fantastic opportunity. Big Club. Big wages. Big support. Some really good players. But, more importantly, a left back slot that is virtually there for the taking! The prospect of signing and walking straight into the first team as opposed to sitting on a bench for weeks on end must surely be a hell of an incentive??
  18. Hmmmmmmmm, can't really think of anything that has stuck out tbh. Must be summat........ Not exceptional, but 'moments' of '06: My sig. Coming close to accepting an invitation from one of mrs hips' colleagues. The opening hours of the year - party time!!! Son passing his driving test - first go (spawny get!)
  19. You've just graduated from Manchester haven't you mate? You staying round there? Would've liked too ideally. Moved to plymouth in october though, working on refueling the trident nuclear submarines now. Reeeeeeeeeee- Coooooooooooooooo 'Fill her up. And can I have half a dozen of your ICBM's as well, please?'
  20. No pressies to open until I get home in February:( Mrs hips, on the way to the airport: 'Oh! I've forgotten your Christmas presents'. Hmmmmmmmm Anyway, prior to leaving, mother-in-law gave me a ton and a whopping big bar of Cadbury's. It was nice! I bought mrs hips an aquamarine the size of a small island. Not in a ring, or owt, just on its own I gave her a pearl necklace anarl, but that's a different matter. I also got her some clobber so she will, hopefully, be happy enough.
  21. Maybe some of them are elsewhere at the time supporting Man U !!!! Ever considered that???
  22. HBTY, HBTY, HBDPL......, HABTY Have a good one. Well, what's left of it!
