I've lost a lot of respect for pardew these past 45 minutes. he waited far too late to bring on subs, and when the time came, brought on the wrong ones. very indecisive, and a disappointment. I'd say he threw away 2 extra points today.

needs to be a new chant, for sure. also, blaydon races eukulele solo? pretty awesome.

plus, shola is a player who comes back to lend a hand - whereas Ben Arfa is really weak on the defensive end, if he comes back to begin with at all.

i think pardew should send on sameobi/ben arfa on second half for shola and squidward. we need to create more dynamic attacks, and hold onto the ball, which barfa will help with a lot.

For this match, do we go with S. Taylor without Jonas, or Santon?

Not convinced he has tbh. Think he prefers baguettes anyway. I guess it's still a small sample size, given how few games he's played since his return, or few the toon as a whole. Didn't he have a bad game in our carling cup outing though? Hard to know whether that was due to fatigue, or if he was just having a day.

Official Lineup: Krul Simp, Taylor w/ Mask, Skipper, Taylor w/o Mask Obertan, Guthrie, Cabaye, Spiderman Best, Ba Subs: Elliot, Santon, he whose last name begins with P, Marveaux, Gosling, Barfa, Sameobi Barfa on as an impact sub seems like a good idea, he has done better in that roll and it's probably a better policy until he's fully fit. Put him on with Marveaux when the time comes, their trickery will come in handy during a match like this. And, please, Pardew, DON'T PLAY PERCH!
