  1. I can see you on international talk like a Pirate day all done up like Jack Sparrow having a pop at anyone not saying "Aaar!"
  2. "Narrative", "Agenda" and "For my job..." are a few to include to get you started though
  3. He takes the huff with me enough already thankyou. Stop trying to cause trouble. I'll leave that one to you.
  4. 1. Take Gavrilo Princip to the pub on 28 June 1914. 2. Take Ian Woan to the pub on 2 May 1996. 3. Take John Bonham anywhere but the pub/rehersals on 24 September 1980. 4. Take my dad to watch Dylan play the Odeon theatre Newcastle on 21 May 1966 5. Take Biff Tannen to the pub on November 12, 1955.
  5. How would that that support your argument that given a chance "shane" will shine? If he's had more chances than any of his contemporaries? It doesn't, it disputes Brocks assertion that Vuckic and Sammy are way ahead of him. Don't see how. "Shane" is a year older than both Ameobi and Vuckic, he broke into the first team before them simply by virtue of that fact, but his injury set him back. Ameobi and Vuckic have started making the same kind of first team appearances at the same time in their development (aged 19). I've got little hope for any of them to be brutally honest. They don't need to be as impressive as Oxlade-Chamberlain (he's a year or 2 younger than all 3) or Aaron Ramsay when he was setting the world alight at 18, but they're nowhere close.
  6. I'd bring back Liam O'Brien Andy O'Brien Any o'brien
  7. I gave up on everything except Tell Em Steve Dave a while ago. It's basically like 24/7 radio now, and you wouldn't get the podcasts of every show on radio 1 or owt. If your car has internet radio I think it's champion for that...but mine doesn't so I'm not gonna download the vast array of podcasts available. Walt Flannagan is a legend though, so I do get owt i know he's in.
  8. What's Steve Bull up to these days?

  10. ...and yet in the prediction thread you had it down as 2-2? http://www.toontasti...e/page__st__600 I'd take us to draw 2-2 at the Nou Camp. I couldn't write we'll lose. If my predictions came true we'd have 0 defeats this season. Are you pissed?
  11. Hearts and Motherwell should be happiest about it. Celtic will be cutting costs all over now they're the only game in town. My Celtic supporting colleague reckons because they nearly went bust in the 90s they are already run prudently. Dunno if thats true They still spend enough to compete with Rangers though. They can now be run prudently enough to compete with Motherwell. Can't see them thinking this guarantees Champions League football every season and pushing to get further in that competition.

  13. I assume you're directing that at Chez. I was just making a joke. I think Chez was too.
  14. Is there a points deduction/European ban for this in Scotland or not? In Scotland, following the adoption of a points sanction in the English Football League, a similar rule was mooted in December 2003. It was announced in January 2004 that Scottish Premier League clubs going into administration in the 2004–05 season would be subject to a 10 point deduction and be prevented from signing new players. With Motherwell and Dundee already in administration at the time, it was decided that if "they are not in the process of coming out of administration by 31 May", the deduction would be applied at the start of the following season. Furthermore, the Scottish FA would not allow clubs in administration to play in Europe. Both Motherwell and Dundee met the required conditions to avoid the deduction of points. Although the Scottish Football League has no automatic deduction of points for clubs going into administration, it reserves the right to "deduct championship points before or during a season and/or to impose a player registration embargo on any club". The Scottish Football League also will place a team in the bottom tier (Division Three) if there are any doubts that they can fulfill their fixtures for the forthcoming season. Both times this has happened the Club has been in administration in the summer months.
  15. Not something measurable. He started against Wolves and hasn't been outstanding since, so what do you mean? You want to predict he'll start 10 games next season?
  16. I wonder if there's a Scottish equivalent of Leazesmag fighting the good fight on a Rangers' forum somewhere Goading and misquoting Leazes on the old argument. He'll get blamed for dragging it up if he responds of course. What Leazes actually says is clubs "don't go bust and out of existence" Do you think they'll be out of existence soon, or even relegated (like us) in order to steady the ship?
