Why was the commentator talking about Everton as if they're a small club that defied all the odds to beat the mighty Man Utd? They're a big club (don't start Stevie), have some very good players and finished higher than Liverpool last season. Deserve a bit more respect from the media iyam.

Be gutted if he ends up at fucking Fulham. Get him and Debuchy in and promote Campbell to first team (yeah yeah, I know), and I'll be very happy.

Totally agree with Jonny tbh. I'd honestly rather spend a potential Carroll fee on another CB and FB, and then perhaps a cheapish young striker who can play out wide, has a lot of potential and will understand not being an automatic starter ahead of CIsse and Ba. That Jordan Rhodes perhaps?

I read it and I think they used Pardew's quotes about selling big names for silly money if the offer comes in as the basis to fabricate a story about two clubs doing just that for Cabaye and Tiote.

Yeah and Simpson had a part to play in that goal but no-one ever praises him for it (whether Walker could have done better with Simpson's ball is another matter).
