So this game exemplifies Howe's limitations. He relys on, has spent millions on, and constantly sets up defensive countering teams who rely on being passive for large stretches of away games. And all year opponents have sussed this and just attacked the fuck out of us. Sooner or later we fuck up and concede.

Hall, Livramento and Schar made today so much better. All three put in performances and their ability elevated our game. We could play our comfortably down either wing and retain the ball in situations where we couldn't with Burn clogging up the left and Trippier sadly looking done. Barnes from the left was also a big upgrade. Just a much better footballer than the kick and rush guy who is out injured. Barnes can finish and he can pass and move at pace.

Barnes is our best left winger. Always has been.

I hope he comes on and his groin implodes.

This season would've been a lot worse had Isak been bagging loads of goals as Liverpool romped to another title. Good to see they're shit again and Isak is his usual crock self.
