I don't know what Chez looks like. I only know that Gemmill is a head on legs.

I mean, look at Adam and Eve as told to us. What language would they use, (if they were real), and why do we have so many different languages and different races of people in size, colour and facial shape.

Well this is down to a belief in a God or Gods and goes down the line of intelligent design, yet who designed the God's to oversee the intelligent design of their creatures? It's a bit like the chicken and the egg scenario.

Yeah that wikipedia explains many theories but what is correct and what is not? I mean, we could actually make our heads explode thinking about how we came about in this universe and we could argue that this universe is so vast that one or 2 or many planets throughout it were bound to form and create life which evolves over so called millions of years and we are one of those planets that was lucky enough to fall into place with everything else forming around it. A bit like having a trillion trillion monkeys all playing the piano and yet one of them actually plays a full on song. Who knows?

I don't know how everything on Earth came to be and I don't believe in any God as in how we are told, yet I can't stop wondering just how and why everything on Earth appears to be rigged up for all life to sustain itself, including plants in a sort of cycle. For instance, flowers and plants need pollinating by bees, wasps etc, yet neither can survive without the other, which goes all the way up to ourselves being reliant upon all this cycle happening. Looking at it from that context, it would be sensible to assume that something intelligent has set out this stall for us to co exist but what? I mean, it's possible that everything just happened to fall into place over time by accident and not design. It's definitely a mind bender that's for certain. We are told that we originate from Apes, yet if that were true, why are there still Apes? Realistically, judging by the supposed time we have been on Earth, why is it that we have only really advanced in the last 200 years with technology and only really truly advanced in electronics and also surgical procedures in the last 60 or so years when we have supposedly been roaming this Earth for thousands upon thousands of years, building structures and using tools and making intricate things even then. Did we somehow become dumb or was it dumbed out of us on purpose? I don't profess to have any real answers to it all but it does appear that we have been sold some bullshit about our history and evolution and what not.

Any topic made up , is made up for attention isn't it or what would the point of putting one up.
  7. Qualification for the champions league would go a long way in showing how far we have come since getting back on track amid a hat full of managers. Winning a cup would be great but not at the expense of a mediocre finish or relegation as as happened to many teams. Not many fans will dine out on a league cup final win or an FA cup final win if it meant we languished at the wrong end of the table or worse, as it would be back to square one of, " so what, we won a cup but the club is in a mess and the players are shite." etc etc. Champions league first and foremost for me but let's be greedy and have a cup and qualification.

What do you think on this? I'm more in the thought that it's not quite how we think but not because it's any conspiracy as such, I just don;t subscribe to many aspects of it. I'll explain more as I go on. Anyway...What are your thoughts on it and what do you believe 'could' be a reason for or against evolution?
  10. 1- What was your reaction to the Europa League draw? Fairly happy as we missed the bigger clubs. 2- What do you know about the Bordeaux team? And the club? Very little. 3- Are you interested in the French League 1 in England? What is your opinion about our league? I rarely watch French football. 4- Is this competition important to you as supporters? And for the club leads? All competitions are important to me. 5- What are the strengths of your team? How is your start to the season? Our main strengths are Coloccini and Taylor at the back, plus Tiote and Cabaye in centre mid, then our amazing French wonder in Ben Arfa's sublime skills, plus Demba Ba and an in form Cisse. 6- What is your opinion on Gabriel Obertan, who has played in Bordeaux? Speed machine who has talent yet is struggling with the intelligence on field to make it count. If he could produce a cross or the right ball at the end of his runs, we could destroy some teams. 7- And finally: a small prognosis for the game?I can't really comment as I know next to nothing of your team but I'll go with a hard fought win , for Newcastle, naturally.

    Weather Check

    It's torrential here.
  12. As the title suggests, if you don't want your forum to die a death, stop banning posters that are interesting, like Leazes mag. I've looked through the old posts and came across a pathetic clique mentality, which is pathetic. Get a grip some of you or your forum will collapse like a pack of cards. It's always the same with these forums...you get a select few that suck each other off and people don't post because they see it for what it is.
  13. Cisse was the best thing since sliced bread when we bought him and proved what he could do. His movement , when in form is fantastic and his strike rate and ability to score out of nothing is top class. The best way to regain confidence, is to go back out and keep trying. Getting dropped will send out the wrong message to the player, plus destroy his confidence in himself and in the club. As viper said to Jester when Maverick blamed himself for Goose's death and Jester said, "you know, he just might not make it back" and Viper said, " keep sending him up." Talk to me Goose...................
  14. The disadvantage of a bath is, all the cum attacks you and sticks to your skin.
  15. Shower in hot weather and a bath in cold weather.
  16. Let's put this all into perspective here. Regardless of what we think is going on behind closed doors as in taking this or that competition lightly, will be so far from reality as you can get. Whatever team Pardew picks, he will pick to give him a chance of progressing, no matter who we play. We play Man Utd and no matter what team Man Utd put out, they are still Man Utd and are a feather in the cap of this club and whatever players are put up against them if we triumph. Can anyone seriously picture Pardew saying, " right lads, this is the team I'm putting out against Man Utd because I don't wan't injuries, so you lot , just go out there and don't worry if you get your arses handed to you as it's not that important." Imagine that eh? That's like saying to the players, You are the shit end of the stick but it's a run out, so think yourself lucky. I would imagine Pardew saying, " ok lads, this is the team, now go out there and prove to me that the first team is where you want to be...go and stake your claim and do the club proud." A cup is a cup and it breeds confidence throughout the club and turns boys into men. We aren't playing Man Utd just to make up the numbers, you can bank on that.
  17. I go to a fair few games a season and miss more of the game watching from the stadium than I do watching on the telly. The advantage of going to the game is the atmosphere and the feeling of being part of it, plus the day out of course seeing your team in the flesh. The disadvantage (depending on where you are seated) not seeing a lot of incidents fully, like offsides, and the full on joy of seeing a goal scored at the other end clearly, mainly relying on the fans jumping for joy, so you react with them. You can appreciate the speed of players much more in the ground as opposed to the telly, yet for full on analysis, you have a better one than any fan in the leazes or the gallowgate.
  18. This club has never been healthier and will continue to get healthier as well as better. We are still a club in transition, let's not forget that. Too many people hold a grudge against Ashley as if he alone has destroyed the club or something, yet we are much stronger than ever all throughout the club, some people cannot see past their own nose.
  19. Ben Arfa should be our penalty taker in my opinion.
  20. All in all, another 3 points gained. Not the best performance in the world and not the worst but we did create chances and didn't concede, even though we were our own worst enemy at times, giving the ball away too cheaply. Norwich came for a fight and a fight they gave us, even though we could and should have weakened that fight just before half time, yet we didn't but we still slugged it out. We will play 10 times better than that and lose and also play worse than that and win...that's football. The referee was crap by the way. We had a side out today that appeared to be getting to grips with each other and stuttering, yet when we get into a flow with all out injuries subsiding, I think we will see the real Newcastle United. After all, we are only 5 games in and barely out of the starting blocks, yet we have lost one game away to the potential 2013 prem champions in Chelsea in their own backyard. What you tend to find with teams like Norwich is, they always come to the big grounds and fight to the death and denying us time on the ball and seem to add another 50% to their overall game as far as effort is concerned...Plus the fact that Chris Hughton will have had a massive extra word in their ears to make sure they done him proud against his old club. The plus points are. Harper isn't finished by a long way and was our hero today. Santon looks class and did a very good job at the back as well as going forward, except that he tried to go that one step further all the time which actually made him look (overall) wasteful. Perch continues to impress even when shifted around. His no none-sense displays help to keep us steady when the shit hits the fan. Ba looks like he has a re-newed zest and always looks dangerous. Ben Arfa is outstanding and a joy to watch......my man of the match. Jonas put in a great shift as usual. most of the players did a decent job without being exactly on top of their game. The worrying parts today were Cisse, Tiote and Anita. Cisse just looks dejected and down on his luck and it shows but hopefully he will get it right soon. Tiote could have cost us the game when he came on with his reckless challenges, plus his show boating on the edge of our area and in midfield where he decided to think he's too good to be dispossessed, lucky to stay on and an impact sub he isn't...take note Pards. Anita actually had a fairly decent game but just seemed to struggle in midfield and at right back against Norwich's physicality and aerial ability, which is why Perch is our my versatile iceman. 1-0 and I'm happy.
