Maritimo v Newcastle United --- 20/09/2012
wolfy replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
I think some fans get a bit above their station thinking we have a god given right to beat Maritimo on their own turf, inspite of them finishing 5th in their league and with us having a more or less second string team. Granted the game wasn't an advert for sweet passing and accurate shooting football but like I said earlier, there is the pitch condition to take into account which makes the passing game harder with it bobbling about. With lady luck smiling on us, we could have put the game to bed, yet we didn't concede either, so all in all I'm satisfied with a good away point. -

Not a very good game to watch but considering it's away and on a shit pitch, I suppose it's a good result. Bigirimana is showing just why we bought him. All in all, we stuck it out with a squad like effort and there are plusses to take from the game. -
Players will always be unhappy when dropped and I don't want a player who is happy to be dropped. If a player gives an ultimatum of, "play me or I'm off," then sell him, no matter who it is. Players today know that it's a full on squad game and it's about tactical switches which may or may not work, yet have to be tried. Just because one player boasts a bigger pedigree than another, doesn't make him automatic choice, especially if another player is showing more desire in a game or training. I support Newcastle United and anyone who pulls on that shirt and no player is bigger than the club no matter how many goals they score or games they save. It's about being focused for everyone and those who decide to rock the boat should be made an example of.

I started off as a lowly trainee making cups of tea and sweeping the floors, plus running out to get sandwiches and pies. Two years later, I got my own building to sweep with only tea to make. 10 years after that, I got a baseball cap and a wider sweeping brush and 2 massive areas to sweep, plus a galvanised bin.....on wheels I might add or boast. Hard work paid off for me , because now I have a bib'n' brace and new black shiny boots with supererviserer on it as I'm in charge of a 16 year old school leaver who I can tell to sweep up if I want to. I'm not a bad supererviserer though, I just say to the lad, "oi, James, sweep up will yeah" and he just does. I've rose up from £1.85 an hour to £3.21 an hour and if anyone comes nosing, I have to say I'm Polish, which is nice of them to trust me with the Polish language but between us lot, I can't speak a fucking word of it, so I'll just act more dumberer than I am.

Maritimo v Newcastle United --- 20/09/2012

Let's walk before we run. We have managed to crawl before we walked, so this is the next step. We are not awash with a full squad of top quality seasoned superstars like the bigger teams, so Pardew has to rotate what he has, whilst keeping the main players fit/uninjured and ready for another premier league assault at the right end. We are in the group stages of Europa and this gives an excellent chance for the young boys to big up and become men and prove their pedigree, hopefully with a consistent run in Europa and the two domestic cups. This could actually work brilliantly for us and actually give us a better than average fighting chance on all fronts this season with at least an opportunity of staking a claim on one cup or another, or being only a kick in the arse outside of one, plus retaining the momentum of a push for a champions league spot. It might be a long shot but it's not beyond the realms of possibility of us having a really positive season. Don't write off these youngsters, because I've seen enough of them to know that we are in good hands as long as they stay consistent and hungry, which games of this magnitude will certainly help to make them that. -
Nope, the bet is what it is and I'm fine with that.

Well I could be naive on a lot of things, I don't dispute that but I'm 100% certain in my own mind that I'm not naive where manned space missions are concerned and especially Mars. We don't know what Mars is like and when I say WE, I mean everyone on this planet because no craft has been there to see it. If you want to believe in rigged up photo's and manipulated video, then be my guest.
-
Because N.A.S.A has already sold us the Mars missions and most have accepted they can do it. They obviously didn't want to go overboard with the first round of bullshit, so they gave us little glimpses of Mars full of reasonable sized rocks. This time, we have a more smooth pebbly surface for them to play around with, which means this curiosity can roam at will and cover big distances. It is then that the big shock will get spun, when it finally bumps into something to get everyone going, 'ohhhhhhhhhh look at that, Mars had/has life.' No amount of technology of supposed higher intelligence has made us humans any less naive to bullshit.

The deal is on then. It'll be a bit more than molecular. They haven't went to all this trouble to take the piss, so I'm going for some kind of little mouse like skeleton remains or maybe a small Lizard type skeleton, obviously with a few added features to make it look more Marsy like. Or, maybe a structure or something or artefact of some sort. I don;t think they would dare take the total piss by showing us the skeleton remains of a Martianasaurus. Or would they...dare they.....who knows...tune in next year...or earlier to see the next edition of Mars has bigger organisms.

I made a prediction that soon enough they will come out with something. I said it might even be within a month, I didn't specifically say it would be a month exactly. Just to be totally clear on things, here's what I'm willing to do. From this point, until 1 year ....(yes I know I'm giving myself time)...If N.A.S.A don't come up with some kind of organism or some structure or something that they tell us is intelligent life being, or, been on that planet, then I'll never question anything again and just accept everything we are told. That would be a massive step for me but that's also how confident I am that they are going to hit us with a complete load of bullshit. Now it's only fair that you do something if they find any of this on Mars, so can I ask you to stand in Fenwicks window wearing a thong on, the wrong way round, making sure that the string splits your balls, stood there holding both arms up as if you are posing for a body building competition. Is this a deal.

Every avenue was tried to get the so called work shy into work. It's not about getting people into work, it's about figures. If they take a person off the dole to pick chewing gum off the pavement, or sit in a classroom listening to some ridiculous man or woman giving them quizzes and little puzzles to do, then it's one more from the unemployed list, even though they are still getting their unemployment benefit, plus and extra tenner and help with transport to whatever place they are sent to. It costs the Government more to do this ...far more than it costs to just accept the system for what it is, which is, there will always be a shortage of jobs and there will always be people that play the system. The real target should be those that are claiming disability allowance and mobility when they can clearly do everyday tasks quite easily and can clearly be seen playing the system. There are real needy cases that can't get disability....The reason for this is...they are too honest. Yes, too honest. Those that play the system, get away with it because they are very good actors and know what's required to keep on getting disability. No matter what's said...it's all about looking good for whatever party is in power with unemployment figures because it appeases the tax payer, who are happy to see that their Government are supposedly getting strict on dodgers when in fact, you end up paying more tax for the extra work the Government are supposedly putting into getting the unemployed back to work. What you are really paying for is the new jobs the Government have really created and that is...all the man power needed to oversee getting the unemployed doing menial tasks of whatever they are allocated. So you are paying for a number of top people on massive wages, who oversee, admin, secretaries, tutors, supervisors, foremen/women/charge hands and each of those has someone to oversee them, coupled with no loss of job centre staff. Just a few thousand claimants would require an army of people to oversee every aspect and the end result is...everyone gets a tenner extra, plus fares, plus work kit or whatever is needed, plus all their usual benefits anyway and on top of that, you have a mountainous wage bill for the suits in charge of it all. If that sounds sensible to people then at least you can accept the hike in your tax, just for that little bit of knowledge that those who are claiming are now sat in class rooms, stood with a brush, doing 1 hours garden raking out of a day and just basically getting pulled from their comfort zone. The overall benefit to us, is nothing. The overall benefit to the Government, is to look good and look to be doing something as well as taking that little bit extra from your earnings and giving it to the newly made up work team, with fat cats on about 100 grand a year delegating the chores to those under them who will be on 30/40/50/60 e.t.c grand a year, all to oversee little dole people feel exploited and down right pissed off, some probably to the extremes of violence due to feeling used and abused, which is basically what it is. When a population gets bigger, plus technology makes workers redundant, it's bound to create unemployment. The majority of people want to work, yet there will be a branding of all unemployed because of the minority of shirkers who are clever enough to milk the system no matter what. The easiest way to milk the system is to cry that you are dependent on alcohol or are a drug user. When I used to sign on, I would be tortured to find work, even though I was clearly bang at it. The clear drug users who came in, who looked intimidating or talked like a drugged up charver, simply went over to the desk, , sat down and were handed the book to sign, then it was a "thank you, bye" and off they went. Anyone who looked like they wanted work, were treated like THEY were the skivers and warned that not actively seeking work will affect their benefits. The system is a pure load of shite and the real skivers will still skive, yet the real triers will continue to be smugly treated like shit. Anyone who has signed on will know I'm telling the truth.

They haven't went to all this trouble to sell us another hoax just for another fake Mars run around. The moment is getting closer when they tell us that they have found some kind of life, artefacts or something to do with intelligent life. It's all about how much of a piss take they dare hit us all with. They can beam any pictures to us of anything and no one can check them out in their real state can they, so all they can go on is photos and we all know they can be faked to death. The atmosphere is supposedly paper thin on Mars according to the N.A.S.A actors, yet the special anti thin atmosphere parachutes worked a dream stopping that 1 tonne curiosity rover supposedly travelling at thousands of miles per hour ,enough so that 4 little rockets could deploy, landing it sweetly on the surface, then unhinge it and piss off back into the atmosphere to drop about 600 yards away in a big heap of twisted metal.

Give those who don't want work a grocery only credit card will work fine for the short term coffers of the Government, yet the long term effects on those who want that to happen, plus the long term effects on the Governments budget will far outweigh the cost of implementing something like this. How? Because those who don't want to work, yet have their luxuries took away, will steal from the very people who thought it was a good idea to make them do without the small luxuries like smoking and a few drinks e.t.c...to actually pay for those. This will then inevitably lead to prison, which is full anyway, yet they can smoke in prison and have the luxuries that they wouldn't have outside. If anyone cares to look at the cost of keeping a prisoner in prison for just one year against what pitiful amounts are paid to claimants, people will see that it is no luxury existence at all and is infact a dire existence. Those that have the luxuries are the ones that fiddling or drug dealing/running e.t.c. Those with alcohol problems, get aid in that, so how fucked up is the system to start with. I've signed on a few times in my life and it's no picnic, infact it's soul destroying and looking for work is all well and good but finding any sustainable work is virtually fruitless for many. The one's that have no intention of working are very clever at playing the system and will immediately start acting...feigning breakdowns, psychological problems, down to physical problems and in many cases, shoplifting, burglary, muggings, you name it, it will spiral out of control if their pittance is took away from them. Anyone who hasn't sampled being on the dole will not understand any of this but will understand it all massively if it ever happens to them...and trust me...very few jobs are safe these days no matter what it is.

Ok this wasn't me but a mate of mine. A few years ago, we were all sitting in the pub (about10 of us) and chatting away about all kinds of stuff, then in walks this girl. My mate turns to me and says, " oh here she is, the little slut with the foul mouth,"...I tried to get his attention with facial expressions and the odd ventriloquist dummy type eye brow raising but he continued to wallow on like an old gossip, giving it the old, " she thinks she's some beauty queen with her big sneck (nose) and short skirt" and blah blah blah. No amount of embarrassed looks from me or facial expressions could halt him, until I had to give him a big nudge to get his full attention. He then stops talking and goes, "what"...I said, "her dad's sat opposite man." He forgot that he was mates with her frigging dad and completely forgot that this lass was his daughter, in one of those moments. When he realised, he went bright red and started stuttering into another conversation. To this very day, I don't know if the bloke heard what he was saying or that he was saying it about his daughter but it made me wish I wasn't there at the time as I was cringing with every word he came out with.

The problem with our road system today is the fact that it was built in the days when nobody seemed to have any foresight into how traffic would build up to include all kinds of different modes of transport. You can go up many roads and they are barely wide enough to support single traffic in opposite directions, let alone cyclists. Lately they have put cycle paths along routes but to do so, they have had to thin out the roads. I remember once when I was a kid, I had a chopper that, to be honest was miles too big for me and all the other kids would glare at me in amazement, which gave me a complex at swimming....but anyway that's another story.

Amnesty...just reveal your name and there is no shame, it's amnesty...if you feel it's wrong and you can't go on, just tell the mods, that you are just seething but going nowhere.....dee doo dee doo.... bow bow bow ...bow bow bow ....bowwwwwwwwwwwwwww de bowwwwww Amnesty... You have to sing that to tragedy from the Bee gees.

Taxing cyclists won't be too far off. I once saw a cyclist get pulled over by the ministry of transport. They checked his tyres and lights and even jacked it up to look underneath it. They couldn't find anything wrong, so they gave him a £100 ticket for defective wiper blades. Well ok I didn't really see that but that's what will happen sooner or later.

If a God appears, I could make Linford Christie look like a snail and God would just shout, "oi, wolfy lad, you can't escape my big toe...I'm God and running is futile, now get on the end of this big ingrown puss festered toe."
