I was never really into that progressive house/trance stuff like Armin Van Buuren did. The original progressive house sound was class, Leftfield - Not Forgotten, Djum Djum - Difference , that sort of thing. His sound was a follow on from that though. Lots of the Dutch and German producers that took that progressive sound and made it into something else started off as gabber / nosebleed techno producers and DJs. The Dutch loved all that shit. I preferred the more techno-like end of the trance spectrum. Without wishing to get too hung up on labels but Robert Leiner, CJ Bolland and that type of thing. Probably listen to more house than anything else now but it's the proper shit. Most of what supposedly passes for deep house and the like now is practically fucking Euro pop. Kids today, eh?

Cabaye's looked bad at the time but on the replay it was terrible. To actually see it, give the foul then decide it was only a yellow was absolutely shocking and the ref should be demoted. It was a proper leg breaker and deliberate.
