  6. Difficult to know how to counter that to be honest. As trying to make you look any more dull just seems pointless
  7. Mortgage free whilst living in poverty True, making it even more pointless.

  9. Nah. You of all people know the last bit is bollocks as well. Hope they're proud of you
  10. Oh, aye. Political gamble in the hope of finishing UKIP as a rival to the Tories and silencing his own Euro rebels. Achieved the former tbf
  11. Ah, right you are. My Dad summed it perfectly about two days after the vote. If leaving the EU is such a bad idea then why did they have a referendum about it? I mean, you can't argue from the pov of Cameron that it's a dreadful idea and simultaneously say lets have a vote to see if we should stay in or not. If the former is true then risking it on a referendum is ludicrous.
  12. It's not the fault of the people tbh. It's the politicians. You can't expect the average person on either side of the argument to weigh up the pros and cons and make a considered judgement. That's what the politicians are paid for. I know they're shit at it but they should at least take responsibility for the shit they caused and stop hiding behind the 'will of the people' garbage.
  13. Great read, if somewhat depressing given the passage of time etc
  14. Seen as its you, CT. I've being mean too ask what you fined so funny
  15. The minute I'm in Newcastle I'm on the drink. I haven't read any of his books but I've heard the first couple (A Cook's Tour and Kitchen Confidential) are good
  16. Aye, definitely liked a drink or three
  17. Well, you started it. The owner's got the money. He's deciding not to spend it and using the relegation he caused as an excuse. The net result of his perceived short-term financial prudence will almost certainly see Benitez leave rather than signing a new contract and will create more losses for the owner in the long run. He's already overseen a third of the relegations in the club's history and has shown no sign of learning from those previous errors. Indeed, he seems almost hell bent on repeating them. Arguing otherwise or coming up with pearls of wisdom about his 'investment' and the 'need' to sell before buying as opposed to seeing the bigger picture is inevitably going to lead to speculation about whether or not you're just intending to wind people up. Although I will concede that's possibly giving you a lot more credit than is due.
