Obviously the relegation thingv s playing on their minds they dont wantvto be paying premiership prices for a championship club. I dontvlike the idea that fatboy will be overseeing the window he better back Rafa prooerly . He's at least expecting the £30 million profit he made last year anything less & im not sure he'll stick around -

We all may think he's had enough but NUFC for Ashley has been the goose that laysvthe golden eggs. The free worldwide advertising alone must have made him a fortune over the last decade. I cant see him giving it up on the cheap -

If the valuations are right i read conflicting reports that said PCP had upped the offer from £250 million to £300 the others saying no its still £250 million. Now given Ashley initially wahted £400 million then said he'd take £380 for a quick sale now reports that hecwants at least £350 million without the relegation clause. Now ignoring the clause for a minute there's still a valuation gap of £100 million it's an awfully large gap to bridge. -

With 42 days until the January window closes & the 40 day FA approval & further due diligance something needs to be made official before Friday. Otherwise we're stuck with Ashley for the January window & Rafa still doesn't know what budget he's got. -

So what would a relegation mean for the value of Newcastle United? Well a new update on Wednesday morning has put a figure on that. As well as believing Newcastle are 65% certain to be relegated, The Mail are reporting that the Amanda Staveley camp have put a figure of £125m as the difference between Newcastle being a Premier League or Championship club in May. They also claim that the current position is that the bidders are offering £250m and Mike Ashley holding out for £350m. its not going to happen is it ? -
Forget about him then
-
Arsne wants him at Arsenal it might be a hard decision for the player 5th place Arsenal or 18th placed us. I cant see Ashley wanting to pay 100k a week wages either.

West Ham United vs Newcastle United - 23/12/17 @ 3pm

4 games in 9 days coming up starting on Saturday how many points do you think we'll pick up the games are... West Ham (a) 1point Man City (h) 0 point Brighton (h) 1 point Stoke (a) 1 point I'm thinking 3 points in total hopefully it'll be more -
I hope Stavely can curry the deal out but im afraid that Ashley chapati will stuff it up.
-
just because she wants to buy & he wants to sell it means jack if they cant agree
-
Loads of people on other forums around the internet saying it was all agreed over the curry i'm not so sure & think there's a very big gap thats getting wider by the day.
-
I admire your confidence but atvthis moment in time i'm not. Some people were saying its a done deal after the curry night. If it is/was why not anounce it
-
Thats what i mean she'll be wondering if its worth the money they've offered & could retract it due to our league position now. you've got to remember when news of a revised offer came in last week we were something like 14th. Everyday the value of the club will be falling in Stavely's eyes as our league position worsens.
-
I'd imagine in Amandas eyes we're in the relegation zone. She's got a very strong hand now if West Ham get a draw today we drop another place
-
I can see Amanda walking away from us. We were 6th when negotiations started it's all down to Amanda & does she wantvto chance paying for a Championship team that could very well be back in the Championship.
-
It now looks a distinct possibility given our form & league position this is our form since 24th September against Brighton i'm sorry but it doesnt look pretty ... L-D-D-W-L-L-L-L-D-L-L-L-L Those stats are shocking & i suggested a couple of weeks ago this was begining to feel like the McClaren season. It feels more like it now i think Benitez is running out of ideas regarding the team. Some might say that he's got us playing good football thats a fair comment. But unfortunatley we're not scoring many/enough goals & the keeper situation at the other end isnt much better. We now face the prospect of our 3rd relegation under Ashley unless this takeover happens in fact it would be our 3rd in 7 years 2nd in 3 years thats scandlous for a club with the history we have in fact it's an insult & just shows the mismangement we've had for a decade under Ashley.were this will end is anyones guess at the minute there are a few scenarios 1.)The takeover goes through Rafa is given X amount of £ millions for players 2.)The deal falls through we're stuck with Ashley 3.)Rafa disgusted in lack of funds in Januay window walks away 4.)The club is relegated under Pullis or some other type These are pretty desperate times for the club & all of us are hoping for scenario 1.) I'm not sure if i've the stomach for another relegation so soon what does everyone think ? I know there'll be some of you saying "There's Trooper being negative Norman again" but to quote Rafa "we are were we are" & we'revin big trouble

If West Brom draw today we're down to 19th. Stavely will probably think £200 million is a generous offer i wonder how PCP rate our relegation this morning given it was 65% before yesterdays game. i wouldn't mind betting they're now thinking 75/80%. Take the money & run fatboy run. -

I wouldn't be surprised if Stavley withdrew the offer & offered less take it our leave it the way results are going & our league position -
We may not have took a hiding in terms of goals but we were given a hiding in possesion.
