  1. I wouldn't be surprised if West Ham have been in touch with Rafa.
  2. I'm not confident he'll be here by January i think he'll be long gone especially if Billic gets peddelled in the next couple of weeks. Rafa's who they want he's been treated shockingly here, he's unhappy, there's no project. Rafa's probably just waiting for the phone call to get him away from this lot.
  3. This from the Chronicle Over the course of the last 10 days, Benitez has freed more than £200,000 a week from the wage budget by offloading Emmanuel Riviere, Siem de Jong, Grant Hanley and Lazaar, yet he was not given the scope by which to reinvest those funds.
  4. Well if anyone was under any illusion as to were we stand/stood with Ashley it's there for all to see. Yet again he's shafted Benitez & the fans all in the public eye once again were the laughing stock of football.
  5. It's fairly obvious Rafa was lied to regarding the transfer budget "he knows what he said" With Rafa being persauded to stay before season tickets went on sale Ashley knew demands for season tickets would be greater (money in the bank) if Rafa stayed. Rafa's reward for staying i'd imagine nothing like what he was promised. Ashley's reward for Rafa staying, money in the bank.
  6. Yeah it's just a matter of time now & nobody will blame him. Told on Friday to shut up about the transfer budget then that yesterday it's a shame we didn't have a game tomorrow because no doubt he'd have let us know his feelings. In fact i hope that's the one thing he does before he leaves tells us what Ashley said to him regarding the budget.
  7. Newcastle have had the worst transfer window of every Premier League club, particularly considering what they needed. Their side is explicitly built for the Championship and has barely been strengthened. Benitez will be furious.
  8. John Richardson Can't say you weren't warned. Rafa disgusted at the lack of transfer action. He will leave when it's right to do so on his terms.
  9. Mark Douglas If Rafa Benitez walks, it's the worst crisis of the Ashley era without question. All hell will break loose.
  10. 19 Premier League clubs have broken their transfer record in the last 25 months. Newcastle United last broke theirs 144 months ago today.
  11. Rafa had a plan, a project i highly doubt he's that bothered now. After being told to stop talking about transfer money then todays fiasco. He can walk away from this club with his head held high & we all know who's responsible. I'd expect Rafa & his family to be having some serious conversations about his future over the next couple of days.
  12. The top & bottom of it is Ashley doesn't deserve to have Rafa as his manager.
  13. Ah well fcuk that thats why he's never had or never will get a single penny from me apathy shouldn't rule.
  14. There needs to be a shit storm thrown at Ashley for this bed sheets singing whatever it takes to let him know we despise him. I know he already knows but he needs a reminder this is our club not his
  15. I'm fine mate i can't stop laughing at the incompatence of these clowns
  16. Luke Edwards I knew things wouldn't be good but didn't expect them to be this bad. I'm genuinely worried about Rafa's state of mind now
