  1. Well the groundwork has been done it's up to the match goers to follow through with this fantastically organised protest. It may not happen tomorow night but indications are sackpardew.com are in this for the long haul good luck with the protest and a big thankyou to the anonymous people who have put this together.
  2. A message from Northumbria Police. The Police will facilitate peaceful protest. The Police will not seize any banners (unless they are grossly offensive). The safety and enjoyment of all attending football matches is our priority.
  3. That bothered about whats going on off the pitch do something on the pitch i.e. put a proper shift in btw i hate this phone
  4. Alan Pardew; “Well I think you are fighting for your job in terms of your record at the back end of last season and the record at the start of this season. “But we have got a different squad this year, I think one or two, like all players in Premier League, are finding the adjustment tough. “Some can take straight to it and I remember Yohan Cabaye, that year we brought in three or four others in with him and we hit the ground running. Everybody was surprised that happened. “We have to put all that behind us, all the excuses, and get this magnificent football club a win. “Well it has not been an easy week because after the events at Southampton, as manager you have to reflect and the performance really upset me. “Going back to my old club, it wasn’t a performance I was proud of in any shape or form. “We have spoken to the group about it. We have some new players, I’m not going to offer any excuses. “We need to show a better spirit if we go behind in games as a group, than we did in that game. “In the season you get games where it gets away from you completely, it happens to some top teams. “Last season Arsenal had two or three times when they got well beaten five and six and it happens in a Premier League season when it just doesn’t work. “It is bad timing for us because of the start we have had, we didn’t get the win we needed before then. “So it puts added pressure on us, particularly myself, I’m fully aware of that"
  5. Special mention to Mr Fist helpful as always cheers big fella.
  6. 200 hundred I've read Phil this thing is huge and must have had a lot of thought and planning. 30,000 placards proper distributors handing them out at all sides of the ground. A van driving round town they've approached the police and the club to let them know they'd be taking 200 fireproof banners with certificates in the ground like yourself I think this is much bigger than a few donations via the internet. Also if the Hull game doesn't see him away they're in it for the long haul.
  7. No problem lads thanks for the help I thought I was going mad .
  8. Sorry Alex it was Woodman that did the twitter thing sorry for the confusion.
  9. More chance of being 1 or 2 down in under 6 minutes.
  10. Brilliant bit of work whoever's responsible
  11. Following the conclusion of the Club’s enquiries, assistant manager John Carver; “My sole focus on Saturday, as it always is, was on trying to gain three points for Newcastle United and preparing the players to the best of my ability. “This included keeping them focussed on their roles and duties in the upcoming 90 minutes. “In the warm-up, I was disappointed to see banners that could, in my opinion, distract the players and take focus away from the job in hand – namely winning the match. “I went over to our fans to ask them to help us and requested that they take the banners down. The vast majority of supporters back the team through thick and thin and I am very proud to be one of them. “I was met with abuse from one supporter and I regret that I responded inappropriately. I sincerely apologise for any offence caused by my reaction. “Every fan is entitled to an opinion, positive or negative, and I respect that. I hope fans will understand that I, like them, only wanted what was best for the team. “I am proud to work for my home town club and would ask every supporter to back the players and all staff, as they really can make a difference.” “I am very sorry for the ill-advised comment I posted privately on Twitter on Sunday morning, which was subsequently made public. “It was never my intention, of course, for my response to enter the public domain. “My response was a reaction to significant personal abuse I received from a number of fans which I felt exceeded that which was fair and balanced. “That said, I understand my response was unacceptable and I regret my actions and apologise for any offence caused.”
  12. It's only a bog standard apology issued by the club on their behalf.
  13. "We are willing to carry on our efforts far beyond this game if necessary" well worded, well organised very professional.
  14. "The nasty banners last week upset John, so John told the team, they were upset coz when John's upset we're all upset. So that's why Southampton frashed us 4 nil.
  15. Press conference should be canny today mind, unless he's not allowed to arnser any difficult qwestions.
  16. I posted something yesterday using my sons laptop && noticed the smiley faces. Is there another version of TT I should have just I use a samsung galaxy tab 3 cheers lads all help appreciated.
  17. I agree with you there Andrew Ashley will eventually finish Pardew just it may not be after the Hull game. So anyone who gets a hold of a sackpardew.com card might have to use it a few times until he's gone. Unless of course Ashley doesn't mind the Pardew protest if it's a means of getting rid of him to save money I hope there's a massive response and we see cards & banners all over the ground.
  18. However, we understand the demonstration will not force owner Mike Ashley into ending Pardews four-year tenure and he will be given time to turn results around, regardless of the outcome against Hull. This from the Daily Mail.
  19. The point is no matter what happens with these protest's ( I never wanted him as manager I can't stand the bloke ) it looks like Ashley's going to dig his heels in regarding sacking him. After saturdays match there was talk of crisis meetings going on obviously there wasn't as he's manager now and for the forseable future.
