  1. Miss T's just spent a few of hours in the kitchen making quiches, corned beef pies, & cakes.
  2. Reports of loads of kids on the streets of Ashington, Bedlington, down at Blyth beach last night. Also going shopping with mams & dads. Shirley B.J. will have to call a lockdown for theirs & everyones safety. The penny still hasn't dropped for some people how serious this is.
  3. Anyone in need of a good laugh should really watch this it's a bit dated but really funny
  4. You going for a run today @Meenzer if so can you let us know what it's like out there cheers mate
  5. I know mate but it's about keeping everyone safe. You'd never forgive yourself in you were in the park or on the beach & some dickhead came walking past coughing over the kids
  6. Ah that's my dilema I cant walk mate
  7. My mate who lives in Spain has been in the house since last weekend. They have been told they have to stay in for 14 days. I can do the staying in no bother as I normally have my hibernation period as I call it, from November to March when the cold weather comes.
  8. Pubs & clubs rammed full of people it's a perfect breeding ground for this or any virus. I sort of get the defiant attitude but I still think it's a risk probably not worth taking.
  9. No if your over 70 your not allowed starting this weekend mate. He's a tough old bugger but he had a bad dose of flu over the Xmas so obviously I'd rather he stayed in.
  10. Talking to me Dad yesterday he's 83 he's not looking forward to this staying in as he's used to going out everyday for a little walk even if its just to get the papers. He lives down in Cheshire there's plenty of family members to make sure he's enough food & meds etc. He has a fully enclosed back yard I said if he needs to go out just to go out in the yard. Mrs T offered to go & pick him up & bring him up here but he's set in his ways & wouldnt have any of it. So it'll have to be daily phone calls to check he's ok.
  11. Until he comes out & says they're shutting pubs & clubs people are going to continue going. Tonight Town will no doubt be busy as people will be saying " I'm not staying out the pubs fuck that" we all know what it's like at the weekend especially. Yet it's the perfect breeding ground for the virus. I'm with Ewerk not that I particularly liked her but I'd rather have Theresa May overseeing this.
  12. Miss T is a reception teacher & reckons it'll be virtually business as usual at her school on Monday, now that they've listed the " Key Workers" . The schools in a rural area with a lot of kids living on working farms. Also quiet a few of the kids have one or both parents working in the medical profession.
  13. Pictures from the Chronicle mate

  15. Here we go https://www.dailystar.co.uk/love-sex/masturbating-during-coronavirus-lockdown-could-21718025
  16. So it's YOU that's taken all the fuckin' fruit Gem the "Strawberry Snatcher"
  17. Army to provide support in UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has announced a new military force ready to support public services as required during the coronavirus crisis. As part of the support the Army will provide during the pandemic, the number of troops at a heightened state of readiness will be doubled to 20,000 and Reserves will be placed on standby. The Ministry of Defence is also planning to train 150 military personnel to drive oxygen tankers around the country to support the NHS. Scientists from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) will also help Public Health England’s effort to understand the virus and tackle the spread.
  18. Not here apparently, the kids said they'll try again tonite to try & get some fruit & veg
  19. I'm not sure why people are stockpiling fresh fruit & veg as they only have a shelf life of 1 or 2 weeks. They'll probably end up throwing most of it away, dickheads.
  20. Miss T & Master T went to get some shopping for us in Cramlington last night. They managed to get pasta & a few bits & pieces they tried everywhere to get flour ( theres no bread so where going to be making it, well they are I'll be supervising ) tried Aldi, Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco Express they said they eventually got some at the local Londis shop. The kids said it's not possible now to do a weekly shop & we'll just have to pick up bits & pieces when we can.
  21. Has anyone ventured out in "That London" if so can you see any physical signs of an impending lock down. Or is it business as usual
