Apparently the Porto manager has a massive release clause & wouldnt even want to speak to Ashley.

Exactly

This from Ashleyout.com... From today, AshleyOut.com is urging all fans to participate in a full boycott of St James’ Park , club merchandise and all businesses associated with the club until Mike Ashley leaves the club. The time for boycotts of individual games and for protests around the ground is over. "If you choose to turn up to St. James’ Park while Ashley owns the club, you are welcome to do so. But pleading ignorance is no longer an option. You know the situation. Every seat filled is an endorsement of his ownership."

Keegan's at the Hilton Hotel Gateshead tonight its sold out. I wonder what he'll say about the latest fiasco.
-
& There we have it
-
Apparently Neil Redfern will be taking charge of pre season training next Thursday. Ben Dawson is to become involved temporarily.
-
Aye your right, the reason he wants so much is because he wants the "neverending loan" back that the club has hanging over it. The asset stripping of the team has been done right before our eyes.
-
What it needs is people like Shearer, Wrighty, Keegan the local & national media to say "Dont go in the ground" . Once one or all of them say that then I'd imagine things would snowball. It's been said loads of times but I honestly believe he would hate boycotts. Also it needs to be more than just one game.

Like quite a few here I'm skeptical about a takeover happening. But surely the value of the club has gone down now with the departure of Rafa.
-
Yeah I think its spot on
-
Dont worry Burnley would want ÂŁ10 million compensation for him
-
It hardly matters who's in charge as long as Ashley's here. Whoever it is they'll have to be an unpopular (with the fans) yes man. That way they take the abuse for Ashley & wont ask questions.
-
Another clue as to why there's no sheikover first Mourhino saying no to coming here now this from Wenger... Not in the near future no," he told France 24 when asked if there was a chance of him returning to the dugout this season after interviewer Kethevane Gorjestani mentioned the vacancy on Tyneside. I still am not ready to go back. I thought 'yes' but I don't think at the moment I will come back. "I am more open now than a year ago to talk about that but I cannot tell you that in the next two or three days I will go into management again. I took a little bit of distance and I enjoyed it. I worked for 35 years without any interruption so I think I deserved a little rest."
-
Which one of his croanies said "You dont know how nasty we can get"
-
He's had good popular managers & let them all go Keegan, Hughton & now Benitez. Yet they've publicly said they never had any intention of sacking Pardew who was despised by the fans & a complete yes man "Fanks Mike" ffs. I wouldnt be surprised to see him back.
-
I still stand by Rafa was surplus to requirements after we got promotion. I think Rafa became a "pain in the arse" asking for this & that for the better of the club. Also I dont think he liked how attached to the fans & the city Rafa became. I mean Rafa must have convinced himself they would offer him what he wanted & would be staying. Because he allegedly told the players in the dressing room after the Fulham game "I'll see you in July" Also a telling point for me was after that game Rafa said Ashley went to the dressing room & said thankyou to the players no mention of thanking Rafa. Another part of me thinks this is a massive Fuck You to the fans for having to endure "YFCB Get Out Of Our Club" Ashley will make sure the next manager is unpopular with the fans & a complete yes man early candidates will probably be Alan Fuckin' Pardew or Dennis Shithouse Wise

I'll play "Devil Advoccat" for a minute who's going to come in for a few weeks train the players get them playing in certain formations etc, knowing new owners are coming in & he could be dispensed with. Also there is absolutely no benefit to the players. I'm calling no takeover/sheikover or even fakeover.
-
There's no takeover mate. Why would Ashley be searching for a new manager if he knew there was to be new owners. Also a little clue was Mourhino ruling himself out of the managers job, saying like Rafa he wants to win things. That got me thinking he doesnt think there'll be any big money coming into the club anytime soon.
-
Aye he wants to know what's what in 2 weeks. Fakeover/Sheikover call it what you want, but it ain't happening is it ? Also he's knocking at least another 2 weeks off the transfer market. Pre season training starts in 1 week Trip to China in about 2 weeks Season starts in just over 6 weeks

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mike-ashley-could-newcastle-go-17261731 Good article from The Mirror

Unfortunately Newcastle United under Ashley has become an anti football club. I've said for a long time if Ashley could get away without having a football team at SJP it would suit him down to the ground
-
Not sure mate, but just judging from what I've seen on social media etc there seems to be quite a few who've decided enough is enough. Wether it's enough to make a visible impact I dont know. But there really is no excuse for not going now. Even the most ardent fan must be able to see what Ashley wants the club for now & it's nothing to do with football.
-
At least they're making a stand hopefully more will follow their lead.
-
Wor Flags are on hiatus until Ashley sods off

The trainee said "she had a DR with her was that ok" I said "I wasnt bothered I had nothing to hide"
