Newcastle supporters holding a public meeting in the Labour Club tomorrow night (Monday 1st July) The Magpie Group posted on their Twitter account: "The Magpie Group are holding a Public Meeting at the Newcastle Labour Club on Monday 1 July at 7pm to discuss how we can achieve regime change within Newcastle United. "If you want to have your say, get yourself along."

There is absolutely no reason to set foot in SJP the home of anti football
-
Ah right I dont use Twitter mate so I wouldnt know sorry
-
From N.O. Apparently the club put up a statement on its twitter account early but its been taken down. It read: A Club statement for the fans regarding the purchase of Newcastle United will be issued later this evening.

6 weeks until the kick off against Arsenal No manager No new players No takeover But never mind Ashley still owns the club #StayawayfromSJP
-
I'd imagine Charnleys inbox is full of transfer requests
-
Ashley with it wasnt my fault it was them. He's a complete shithouse.
-
Yeah maybe's that's the other mythical buyer that's been mentioned.
-
Apparently a French consortium were wanting to buy the club. But have now cried off as they wanted Rafa to manage the club. Honestly you couldn't make this lot up.
-
Luke Edward's The window for a takeover will be closing soon. The club needs a manager and it needs to get on with player trading. Talks are ongoing with prospective buyers but those close to Ashley continue to doubt it will happen. My advice is the same. Don’t believe it until it happens. ☆ but those close to Ashley continue to doubt it will happen ☆

NUFC 360... Mike Ashley has claimed it is the fault of Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed al Nahyan that Rafa Benitez has left the club. According to Ashley’s camp, Sheikh Khaled does not want Rafa Benitez as manager of #nufc should he complete his takeover. Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger are possible targets
-
Apparently the Porto manager has a massive release clause & wouldnt even want to speak to Ashley.
-
Exactly

This from Ashleyout.com... From today, AshleyOut.com is urging all fans to participate in a full boycott of St James’ Park , club merchandise and all businesses associated with the club until Mike Ashley leaves the club. The time for boycotts of individual games and for protests around the ground is over. "If you choose to turn up to St. James’ Park while Ashley owns the club, you are welcome to do so. But pleading ignorance is no longer an option. You know the situation. Every seat filled is an endorsement of his ownership."

Keegan's at the Hilton Hotel Gateshead tonight its sold out. I wonder what he'll say about the latest fiasco.
-
& There we have it
-
Apparently Neil Redfern will be taking charge of pre season training next Thursday. Ben Dawson is to become involved temporarily.
-
Aye your right, the reason he wants so much is because he wants the "neverending loan" back that the club has hanging over it. The asset stripping of the team has been done right before our eyes.
-
What it needs is people like Shearer, Wrighty, Keegan the local & national media to say "Dont go in the ground" . Once one or all of them say that then I'd imagine things would snowball. It's been said loads of times but I honestly believe he would hate boycotts. Also it needs to be more than just one game.
-
Like quite a few here I'm skeptical about a takeover happening. But surely the value of the club has gone down now with the departure of Rafa.
-
Yeah I think its spot on
-
Dont worry Burnley would want £10 million compensation for him
-
It hardly matters who's in charge as long as Ashley's here. Whoever it is they'll have to be an unpopular (with the fans) yes man. That way they take the abuse for Ashley & wont ask questions.
-
Another clue as to why there's no sheikover first Mourhino saying no to coming here now this from Wenger... Not in the near future no," he told France 24 when asked if there was a chance of him returning to the dugout this season after interviewer Kethevane Gorjestani mentioned the vacancy on Tyneside. I still am not ready to go back. I thought 'yes' but I don't think at the moment I will come back. "I am more open now than a year ago to talk about that but I cannot tell you that in the next two or three days I will go into management again. I took a little bit of distance and I enjoyed it. I worked for 35 years without any interruption so I think I deserved a little rest."

Which one of his croanies said "You dont know how nasty we can get"
