  1. When Rafa goes theyll say "his requests were unreasonable"
  2. This from the Mag more lies from Charnley & Ashley Back in 2013 when it was announced we were told (see below): This is a hugely exciting development for Newcastle United. We have one of football’s great stadiums and we are delighted to now be announcing plans for a training complex which will rival any in Europe. “Top players and top teams need top training and medical facilities. Our current training ground has served the Club very well but the new complex will give us all of the ingredients that we need to continue maintaining and enhancing the performance of elite footballers. “It will also be an added attraction when we are looking to recruit players.” Now this from Charnley Lee Charnley 18 April 2019 – as reported by Martin Hardy (one of a number of selected journalists invited to speak to Lee Charnley): “We are looking at a training ground building project that is potentially going to be between £15 m and £20million. “If you were to ask me now, do I think we are best served spending that on a new training facility or spending it on improving the team, now, today in the short-term, I think that money is best spent on the team. “We have revisited the plans that came out and we now have a different design. We have also got a different build structure. “In my experience, has a player turned round and said I’m not signing for Newcastle United because of your training facilities? No. Did it stop us getting promoted out of the Championship, did it stop us finishing tenth, did it stop us having a good season this season? No. “Is it something at some point in the future, if we could and it was the right time to spend the money, we would look at improving? Yes.” Rafa's never going to get what he wants & needs off these idiots Here's the link to the full article https://www.themag.co.uk/2019/04/must-read-mike-ashley-and-lee-charnley-shameless-with-training-ground-comments-newcastle-united/
  3. It's not only "like it or lump it" to Rafa it's "like it or lump it" to everyone who supports the club. I hope him & Ashley if he turns up have some lovely things shouted at them.
  4. Ashleyout.com now saying Charnley made that statement
  5. A guy on N.O. reckons it's a genuine quote from Charnley if this proves to be right farewell & good luck Rafa. Btw if Charnley thinks this has been a good season he needs his head testing the slimy little toad
  6. True but this has all the hallmarks of what happened with Shearer
  7. It's not looking good is it ? George Caulkin at The Times: ‘Rafa Benítez has had no response from Newcastle United three weeks after telling the club’s hierarchy what it will take to keep him at St James’ Park beyond the end of this season. At Newcastle’s request, the manager submitted a wishlist in the week before their Premier League fixture at Arsenal on April 1, in the expectation that they would form the basis of contract negotiations. As of last night, he was still awaiting a reply, causing Benítez to seek clarification from the club; with only four games still to play, the clock is ticking. Three weeks after submitting his contract wish list to Newcastle United (at their request), Rafa Benitez has heard nothing back. Have avoided incremental updates like this as far as possible but the clock is ticking. Hopefully there will be a positive response from the club; Lee Charnley is doing media briefings this week (not with me) on the club’s accounts and I’m sure he’ll be pushed on Rafa’s future.
  8. Cracking win another 3 points in the bag. There'll be Premiership football at SJP next season but who'll be the manager. I can see it being someone like Dennis "Shithouse" Wise sadly.
  9. Tough game tonight i'd be happy to take a point but i think Lesta will be hard to beat so it's a 0-2 for me a Vardy brace
  10. 32 days of the season left & Rafa's still waiting on a reply from Ashley. I can see this turning into a similar situation Shearer had with Ashley were he was frozen out.
  11. Aye Google reckons $3 billion about £2.3 billion
  12. At the minute it's probably a bit of loose change especially as he's allegedly worth £4.5 billion
  13. He thinks it's scandalous all because he couldn't get it all https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-47864580
  14. He's obviously got the lip on Sports Direct confirms that it is no longer interested in a takeover of Debenhams following its collapse into administration.
  15. So this cunt has just offered Debenhams £150 million as long as he can be boss. Mind he wants £148 million worth of debt written off. Retail tycoon Mike Ashley has offered a £150m cash injection to ailing retailer Debenhams - as long as he can become its chief executive. Mr Ashley, who is Debenhams' biggest shareholder, has been embroiled in a battle for control with its board. Last week, the retailer challenged Mr Ashley to table a firm takeover offer or abandon his attempt to take control and provide funding instead. Debenhams has refused to comment on the offer. Days before a lender-imposed deadline is due to expire, Sports Direct has offered to underwrite £150m of new equity funding for the retailer but only if Mr Ashley becomes chief executive and £148m of debt is written off by lenders, who include banks and hedge funds.
  16. Luckily we have that 7 point gap against Cardiff because these last 6 games could be very interesting Crystal Palace (h) Leicester (a) Southampton (h) Brighton (a) Liverpool (h) Fulham (a)
  17. Would he be eligible to play for WBA in the play offs ?
  18. NUFC to Ashley is just another one of his businesses. He has no personal links to the club apart from owning it. I doubt very much he cares whether they win or lose every week as long as they can stay in the PL with little or no outlay. The club is probably running as efficiently as it can now & that probably suits Ashley. He just sits back watching the TV money come in as we struggle to survive another season. As soon as Rafa started questioning Ashleys financial methods he was on borrowed time. As much as it hurts its probably time for Rafa to move on as he's getting nowhere fast here. Around mid table is probably as good as it'll ever be with Ashley in charge
  19. I was reading yesterday how true it is I've no idea. Starting next season Ashley will go back to the old sign no one over the age of 25 routine.
  20. Pini Zahavi has been taken on by Newcastle United to find them a new manager for next season, according to reports from France. L’Equipe say Mike Ashley has engaged the ‘Super Agent’ to identify a replacement for Rafa Benitez. The newspaper reporting that this was decided some months ago, suggesting the Newcastle United has had no real interest in convincing the much decorated manager to stay. Looks like Ashley can't wait for Rafa to go
  21. It's true though Quiffy yesterday's comeback was amazing. Normally that would have been game over & yet they came out fighting & determined & went on & won. Under Pardew, McClaren or Carver you'd have been tempted to leave SJP at half time. Not with Rafa in charge. As I've said if he has to leave due to the financial constraints under Ashley it'll be a travesty.. Because you can bet whoever Ashley's got lined up (Pardew anyone ?) won't have anywhere near the class Rafa has.
  22. It'll be an absolute travesty if Rafa walks away in a few weeks time due to Ashleys financial restrictions.
