  1. Was it not in November? Anyway, I thought it was all at Roeder at the time tbh. Didn't really understand what was going on with all of the Shepherd craic then, given how I was going to just turn 6 a month after.
  2. If we are drawn against them then more than likely, aye, seeing as how this season we lost to their cousin Wednesdayites.
  3. I don't think it'll be a thrashing, I think it'll be another cruel 1 goal defeat where we gain so much false hope that we may get something. A win here (yes, yes, I know, I know...) COULD be the catalyst for a turn-around, especially with Swansea at home next and the mackems and Norwich playing each other. Effectively, we could () go into the home game against Man City less than 3 points away from the two above us, depending on Norwich's results. In a season where Marc Albrighton and Danny Simpson are getting Premier League winners medals, strange things can happen and we could get a win here. Will we? Nar. I'm not expecting anything. We've always been shocking here haven't we? Even when Southampton were playing at The Dell?
  4. Doubt it tbh, seeing as how they're 8 points off the play-offs in League 1.
  5. I've been a ST holder since 06-07, so I've only seen one Ashley-less season, and I don't even remember much about it apart from getting beat off Sheffield United at home.
  6. Just started reading Touching Distance, got to the part which talks about us in '91-'92 and read about when we were 3-0 at home to Charlton and ended up getting beat 3-4 with bloody Alan Pardew scoring the winner? Anyone on here at that game? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHV23Qequ9U
  7. Palace beat Norwich, Leicester beat the mackems, we beat Southampton, and the 3 point realistic gap is restored. Whey aye. Are we fuck winning at St Mary's. We haven't scored there since Stephen Carr scored ffs
  8. I think Gemmill views match-going fans as people who approve of the regime by attending. (correct me if I'm wrong Gemmill)
  9. Devastated tbh. Yesterday was so brutal. Had we just held on for a draw we'd be in with a really decent chance, IMO. Gonna take something special now, though.
  10. I'd love to think Rafa would stay with us in the Championship but a manager of his calibre could go where he wants. I'd like to think he'd be excited to be given carte blanche to build the club from the foundations up in any way he wished but unfortunately I don't think Fatty Fucknuckle would relinquish that kind of power to anyone. Any decent owner worth his salt would do what they could for that to happen, knowing full well that in 2-3 years time you'd could have a great club once again. The sooner Ashley gets to fuck, the better.
  11. The fart's probably not even his own.
  12. You, me, and Rafa Benitez on a cold Tuesday night in Rotherham.
  13. Doesn't he want to be in England to be closer to his family?
  14. "Benitez wouldn't manage us in the Championship" Aye, but we didn't think he'd manage us in the PL either.
  15. Tbh unless Rafa stays, which he certainly won't, I won't be watching next season. Cba with it anymore.
  16. I think Perez will be off if when we go down.
  17. I'll be more gutted about losing Benitez than going down personally.
