1. Seriously now guys, END-OF-THREAD!
2. No it's not banter 8899 "No. It's not banter. Not anymore"
3. "That sounds like one shitty-made-up degree, son!"
4. Amen to that. Both look like Mannequin dolls. Right...Craig...I never let TV wind me up, but this lad needs a slap. The way he is treating and talking to Eugene at the moment is an utter disgrace. Typical bully, pick on the weak. I hope this cowardly bastid gets the biggest boo of all time Wednesday night when justice will prevail and he'll be booted out. He's a wanker, and he needs to fuck right off. 8654 You go, girl!
5. "Unlike Paula Radcliffe, this one has the potential to run and run!"
6. "I dont know about that, Ted. He's pretty cynical like!"
7. Speaking personally, I'd only 'give something back' if there was a really BIG cheque on offer.
8. Yeah, his ex-wife was a consultant, ironic. He ditched her in a fairly despicable fashion. Pretty young age to die at. Ended up sitting next to him on the tube the other week, managed not to blurt out, 'You're Robin Cook!' 8531 Good one! Been there myself actually with Gerald Kaufman (Gorton) on the way back to Manc from Euston. Said 'hello' though as it was pretty obvious I'd done a double take when I first clocked him so seemed churlish not to acknowledge him. He's a nice bloke though is our Gezza! I never knew Robin Cook was referred to as 'Neil Kinnock's hair bank' by the way! Quality stuff!
9. Very sad business. No age at all. Had to admire him for his principled stance on Iraq and a great intellect without a shadow of a doubt. RIP. Ironic that his ex-wife whom he left for his PA is a doctor (consultant I think). Dunno if it would have made any difference ultimately but I'm sure she would have stood a better chance at resuscitating him than his PA/2nd wife - who had to phone the emergency services and follow their instructions if reports are correct. Almost certainly wont pass without comment in the House of Commons.
10. We reached that point 5 minutes ago. I got my French collegue to tell them to 'eat shit and die' in her native tounge. It made us feel better. 7806 Oh aye? Whats she like? You been giving her any native tongue?
11. Good point! Though Gemmill clearly does apparently, so we shouldnt laugh. 7738 That's enough of the lip, Tim Henman. 7780 Says Mr 'Bruce Springstein chic' circa 1985!
12. Can we save the piss takes until we've forced the follow on please Alex instead of forecasting a collapse before 11 am on the second day. You pleb. 7772 Firstly, I gave a winky so I was like so obviously joking man. Secondly, you don't even like creeket. 7775 While being an excellent medium paced bowler, you are right I don't actually like cricket. But I do hate Australians. So I have an interest. Nothing rash Alex, man. You'll jinx it. Softly softly catchy monkey!
13. Can we save the piss takes until we've forced the follow on please Alex instead of forecasting a collapse before 11 am on the second day. You pleb.
14. .....it's all upside down, man! Still getting my bearings here. Apropos of which, are you struggling with an avatar? Longest I've known you go without!
15. I only ask because clearly she isnt good enough for him.
16. Also wykikitoon, you seem to have this mate's interests very close at heart (particulalrly as regards his trousers) while at the same time having very strong anti-his-girlfriend views. Are you completely sure he's just a 'mate' or would you like it to be more than that?
17. Good point! Though Gemmill clearly does apparently, so we shouldnt laugh. Also kudos to wykikitoon for one of the best lines I've ever read about a mates girlfriend. I have absolutely no idea what she's like-she might actually be a really nice person for all I know, but instantly she was 'an absolute toss pott!' Quality!
18. Always been a fan, even though it is probably fair to say she wasnt in the series because of her 'model' good looks. Bringing 'all things Neighbour's up to date - Lara Sacher anyone? (She's 17 now by the way before anyone starts!!!!)
19. The Viduka comment is of course only valid if Blaydon has seen him on a beach this summer and can swear that he's lost a few pounds. I realise he's not exactly shit-off-a-stainless-steel-shovel when he's 9 months pregnant with pies!
20. Anelka shouldn't come into the reckoning in any circumstances during the close season. The fact that he has is just horrendous. Not only does Anelka have an ego the size of Medina's waist, but he also has a consortium of 'advisors' who are quite simply his brothers using him as a meal ticket. He is effectively one source of income which must be stretched across three people. Anelka gets his wages come what may every week however the only way his 'advisors' get their payoff is when he moves to another club. Which he does with alarming frequency. This is bad enough as at best you know he's only going to be a temporary fixture (one season, maybe two), but that I can live with-far worse than that is the fact that, in order to ready Anelka for another move his 'advisors' have to spend the final weeks/months of a season unsettling him and causing a load of shite that, quite frankly we dont need any more of on top of everything else. Not that I'm suggesting the club is badly managed already. Oh no. Far from it like. I'd honestly take fatty Viduka over Anelka. And that really is saying an awful lot.
21. Whatever the situation with Owen, we absolutely must not sign Anelka. The prospect of the ego Souness trying to manage the ego Anelka is frankly something that only a fat lunatic with an absolutely massive ego would contemplate. ......which is unfortunate.
22. They're not placcy are they?
