  1. Leazes man, do you not realise how desperately pathetic and needy that comes across?
  2. Laughing smilies all over the shop too, fooling absolutely nobody as per.
  3. If it was a done deal last Jan (and assuming that deal was to his satisfaction), it makes little sense for him to have been bitching over Twitter this summer. You'd just be sat tight with your bags packed. Doesn't really stack up for me that one. I said on here back in january that this transfer was part of the Carroll deal but they couldn't quite get enough money at the time. Wake up. Yeah but you haven't got a clue, that's well established now via other predictions/hypotheses you've floated. Similarly there's no actual proof of what you claim above. Bit late of me, but Happy New Year btw. do you always call people who correctly told you that Mike Ashley would never match the Halls and Shepherd and take the club backwards "clueless" when you disagree :D Fact is smartarse, I said this on this very site back in January. And YOU are getting your head up your arse again ...and Shepherd vs Ashley within three posts. Tick. *Yawn*
  4. Why not ? Maybe they are spending sponsorship money "before they have it" ... or something ? They also prioritised, maybe he wanted Henderson and Downing more than he wanted a left back ? Cake-and-eat-it-time. At least it only took two posts I spose
  5. First thing to remember is to never ever look for any evidence of a logical thought process in Leazes' output.

  7. Sounds like a canny Team spirit to me. After a derby win at the SOL? Who'd have thought it.. Let's leave that verdict for when we enter a bad patch eh? I hope it's then found to be present in abundance (obviously) but in the meantime it's a bit pointless confusing team spirit with euphoria.
  8. Yeah wasn't that around the same time as Phil Thompson told the world and his wife it was "a done deal"? Fuckin gutted he left, but the only loyalty in football comes from the fans. Its incredibly rare nowadays for any show of loyalty from players; the rewards for moving are huge and greedy parasitic agents earn thier money from players moving on. I wouldnt bare too many grudges about him tbh, he's admitted that he basically left for a more ambitious club and who can argue with that? Expecting loyalty from gifted indivduals who have a short time scale to have a worthwhile and fulfulling career is a bit pointless tbh. I would guess Phil Thompson will be incentivised to exaggerate/talk shite by his various employers tbh. Looks great if you can say you've got the inside track on a club like Liverpool-you'll certainly never be out of work anyway. I don't doubt Dalglish would have mentioned he was after him though.

You'd just be sat tight with your bags packed. Doesn't really stack up for me that one. Yeah I don't get it either. Surely LFC would have wanted him in for pre-season if it was a done deal? That's not to make excuses for the club either. Fwiw I think they genuinely wanted to keep hold of him (ie it wasn't that they were looking to make a transfer fee 'profit' out of him), but it was always entirely unrealistic to think they could given that his new package would only have seen him (again I assume) in line with Tiote, when he could have got more elsewhere. All parties knew this so the fact it was an utterly unrealistic hope means the club should have had replacements lined up as they were basically on notice of the need to replace him for ages.
  10. I agree Leazes. An expert panel could decide what was the appropriate ban depending on the severity of the tackle, injury and level of intent inferred. If a player's leg is broken by a deliberately reckless challenge like De Jong's on Ben Arfa, the perpetrator could be banned for as long as it takes for the player to return from injury. I don't necessarily disagree with the method, but in reality don't people think it'll be even less fairly (ie consistently) applied for the 'big' clubs vs the rest than the referees on-the-spot decisions currently are? I know I'd get sick of seeing the FA backing down every time Taggart dictated the panel's verdict to them in advance. It's bad enough he currently gets to choose who refs matches at OT tbh.

  12. He was throwing some heavy metal around. I iron my work shirts on the back of a wok these days.
  13. you'd be amazed tbh, utmost respect to the lads now i know how much has went on behind the scenes over the time i've been about (about various things i mean/helping people out and what not) (i always quite liked Fop myself...who was it Fop adopted as an apprentice again manc-mag?) Do you want to explain that or do you just want to take the shoeing? Sorry, I was seeing commas where there weren't any. I dunno, I remember Leazes would frequently jump on the binwagon though in one of Toontastic's most shambolic alliances ever.

  15. She's the biggest bitch on here, you should see the PM's I've had off her regarding you, so no doubt she's been hammering them out to Craig. Not even the real T00nraider either before you make too much out of that CT. We had hell on when she first pitched up. A bad sort all round.
  16. Casually overlooking his propensity to be a dick, together with the internet's endless supply of further dicks.
  17. "Rention" You're nothing but an uber-conveyancer tbh. fucking happy days.
  18. "Rention" Didn't he insist on referring to the ginger ninja as Gemmial Rention, Gemmial and manc-foplite.
  19. You should see the ones I send about you I assume Toontastic is bound by the laws of the Data Protection Act? We should all put requests in for all the information held about us. There'd be some right blob-strops. Peasepud is the data guardian. All requests to him directly via PM.
  20. Lots of fingers being pointed here.
  21. Fish definitely one of the 19 like. Eyes too close together? Eyeballs in single file!
  22. Meenzer nervously diverting attention there. Suddenly everyone's a suspect.
  23. Jesus Renton, how many PM's did you send?
  24. Renton with a quiet whisper in the ear there.
