1. Yes Gemmill, the performance is the most significant thing in a league game, because this is the best indicator of how good we are. I can remember us having several bad results under Robson at the start of the season we came 3rd, but I wasn't concerned a bit because I could see we were a good team. It's a marathon not a sprint after all *insert other cliches here*. Trust you not to understand this, the Mr McKay voice really suits you! 34827 Glad you like it. The Grim Reaper costume looks good on you too. 34830 Thanks, it a designer fit. But seriously, do you mainly judge games by results or performances? It's an interesting question and might go some way to explaining why we rarely agree with each other. I'm also curious to understand how a person who purely looks at a match in terms of goals scored/conceded can argue with Roberts's statistical contribution? (Joke, I don't want to go there again!) 34832 Of course I consider the performance when I watch a match. Look at the match thread, I was going on about how woeful it was all the way through the first half. But we are a team desperately low on confidence, and once the goals went in you could see that coming back. And if we win an away game 3-0 and I can see the goals bringing some confidence back to the team, then I'm not going to dwell on the performance in the first half - I think that's the difference between the two of us tbh. You dwell on the negative more than I do.

3. Hmm somebody didn't read my post, or deliebrately ignored what i said to make the above comment. Here it is again for you: If you seriously think that 3-0 win hides all that went before it in that game and all the shite thats gone before it this season and last then i'm worried for you! 34822 Like I said: 3-0 away win but the most important thing is the performance. Hokayyyyyyy.
4. 3-0 away win, but the most important thing is the performance. Hokayyyyyy.
5. I didn't even notice it. And Sky didn't make a big deal of it, which you can guarantee they would have if there was even a sniff of a story in it.
6. You could have gone on to say that Souness's failure to threaten to quit makes him responsible in the main for this happening. You missed a trick there, I reckon.
7. I read in the paper yesterday that we're giving up our Academy facilities to Sky for 4 weeks so that they can make their celebrities-play-football programme "The Match". Apparently the youngsters will be using "alternative facilities". An utterly fucking astounding decision by Shepherd - you have to wonder how many other clubs in the Premiership would do something so disruptive in the middle of a season (I'm guessing none). Can you imagine Arsene Wenger doing something like that?
8. Firts half he was beyond shite as usual, no control, no passing, noi brains, no positioning and no ability to tackle or head the ball. Second half he had a few good moments, doesn't diguise the fact anybody who picks him is a moron. A young kid on the wing and Bowyer in the middle was the answer as it happens he got away with picking a liability in Faye this time. 34760 Not "doesn't disguise the fact he's a poor player" then? I see you're keeping up your record of having a dig at Souness in EVERY post you make. 34763 Who bought him, who picks him, who picks him ahead of the likes of Clark, Bowyer and Zog at home to Fulham. When a dig is warented i'll do it, and he gives me so much ammunition its like shooting fish in a barrel. 34766 And when a dig's not quite warranted you'll somehow find a way to slip one in there anyway. 34777 Correct...you fat ginger bastid 34779 Don't make me have to come down to the Shire and sort you out, Baggins.
9. I'm a geunine split personality now without question. The football fan in me when watchign us play always wants us to win a 50:50 challenge, want us to score when a chance pops up, wants us to clear when they attack. That will never change, it can't. The intelligent part of me that thinks knows fine well the longer this prick stays the more we are fucked and that defeats quickly would see him out and us in with a chance of being turned round. So it leaves me completely depressed whatever happens now even if during the moment we score i am happy. 34764 What happens if we get a full squad back, keep scoring goals and keep winning games? When do you stop bemoaning the fact that winning games is keeping him in the job and start enjoying the fact that he's turned things round? Hypothetical at the moment, but it could happen. 34768 It could happen in theory. What i'd say then is it wouldeventually reach a point where we keep him till the end of the season then say right, time us up and out you go to be replaced by somebody better. And i'd look at his overall performance which lets not hide from it would be shite. But yes, a point would come at which even i would admit keeping him for the season would be safer than a change, but tha point would require one hell of a winning run with genuine signs of fluent, creative, attacking and confident football being played. Unless that happens i know (and hate feelign like this) that scraped points here and there are keeping this club down from what we could/should be. 34770 Hey this is my hypothetical situation! I'll decide whether his overall performance would be shite or not.

13. Nice touch by Souness there. Came back out the tunnel and gave a signed Shearer shirt to a young disabled Blackburn fan.
14. Has there been a foul in the game that Mike Riley hasn't given a booking for?
15. are you being sarcastic ? (genuine question lol i havent got audio on the video stream) 34731 Nah he got cheered off by them when he was subbed. Last time he'll ever play at Ewood in the Prem.
16. I agree. He gets himself in trouble a bit and is forced into making bad challenges, but he also gives away bookings in areas where he needn't necessarily do anything daft. Hopefully it's something that he'll learn to cut out of his game.
17. Good reception for Shearer from the Blackburn fans there.
18. Taylor sent off. This game (I mean football in general) is getting ridiculous these days.
19. How fucking old does Tugay look? He looks like a fucking LA street bum.
