  1. Panicked for a second there, I thought these were gonna clash.
  2. If this is even true BTW. It's probably that daft cunt Kaveh working it out on a spreadsheet.
  3. Keep them and take the risk on a 6 to 9 point deduction tbh. They're all worth that and more over the course of the season.
  4. Looking forward to Gary O'Neill's post vote interview.
  5. I mean it makes no odds cos these people are all just making up the numbers, but the absolute fucking state of these parties is something to behold. I know there'll inevitably be some good candidates overlooked, but generally speaking I've got no problem with Starmer imposing people with actual brains in safe seats. We want these people to run the country, not just be popular in their local constituency party.
  6. Got to find 100 in the next 24 hours as well. There'll be some real "local characters" in that selection. Mind Reform were still about 150 short. There was one of their candidates posted on his social media that he needed to gather a certain number of signatures so he'd be at the local Wetherspoons if people could pop in and help out.
  7. Oh it's real alright. Can you imagine the "special guests" given the headliners? Also venue tba. Seeing if they can get to double figures on ticket sales first.
  8. Lads, you'll want to get your tickets for this one sharpish.
  9. Dr Michael Mosley, the 5:2 diet geezer, has gone missing on a Greek Island. Set off walking from somewhere and never turned up at his destination. Weird one, hope he turns up alright.
  10. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/tory-election-candidate-quits-after-32972622 Tory candidate, a primary school governor and magistrate has to withdraw for having terminally shit patter. It's not even offensive, it's just complete dogshit. There'll be loads more of this to come. They were still 100 candidates short at the end of yesterday.
  11. He's doing the job Sunak used to do. Send someone out into the firing line to say any old mad shit to get the boss off the hook. Fuck knows why he's doing it when he's expected to lose heavily at the election. He might have a shame kink.
  12. In amongst all the shite, this was a really nice watch. Don't watch it if you're on public transport, you might start bubbling.
  13. Sunak still focused on the big issues. This will inevitably turn attention and questioning to how the prisons are full and we're letting dangerous offenders out early. Can they not think?
  14. Deleted my last post because I can't be arse to get into it with someone this stupid.
  15. Possible? One of the Guardian journalists earlier linked to a section of the debate where Starmer looks like he's trying to mention the letter but he gets shut down by Etchingham. Which would confirm that he DID know about the letter and was at least letting Sunak repeat it multiple times on the night: If this is right, he's basically Perry Mason.
  16. The next round of MRPs are gonna be terrifying for the Tories.
  17. Polls starting to flip following the guilty verdict....?
  18. Richard "I'm very loyal to the North East" Holden parachuted in as the SOLE candidate for the Billericay constituency btw. Was it NUFC.com that was forever on about Billericay Dickie? One of the refs iirc.
