Absolutely, he’s only 22 years old - who’s going to improve & develop him more, Howe or Amorim? I’m sure that so many of us were genuinely excited about the upcoming season - CL football, PSR headroom etc - but what a pisstake this transfer window has turned out to be. Is it a case of Eddie either being too optimistic or too picky with his targets? Have we just got a really crap transfer team? We’ll never know the nuts & bolts of what’s really going on - all I know is that I’ve never felt so depresssed going into a new season 😔

All these mercenaries are interested in is money. Manure will be offering a bigger pay packet than us - that’s all Sesko (& his agent) are bothered about. By any other metric he would have joined us - but for the vast majority of players - cash is King. (Let’s see how long it takes for the 1st bout of badge kissing 😔)
