  1. If this stays as it is Wor Eddie’s post match interview will be interesting…. ’We didn’t reach our normal high standards’ ’I thought we were in control for most of the game’ ’We’ve got to do more in the final third’ Etc.
  2. That’s the way Joe, just run into the back of their player & gift them a free kick. Smart play son 👍
  3. The whole team is half asleep 😡
  4. Just so sloppy with our passing at times
  5. No matter how many times Sky show the Bruno challenge - the goal stands lads.
  6. Gordon showing again he hasn’t got the natural instincts of a striker. We won’t see Big Nick at his best until Wissa is fit.

Welcome to the Toon lad 👏👏👏
  8. Frattesi just set off from Venice in a gondola….
  9. Newcastle’s management (those above Eddie) need to take a long look at how this situation has been allowed to develop - having to scramble about for replacements & having to overpay for them. For such successful businessmen some of their decision making has been schoolboy level stuff. Wilson needed replacing far earlier, whatever was (or wasn’t) promised between Mitchell (who has been proved to be a disaster of an appointment) & the Rat has obviously had a knock on effect, Eales has had the longest period of gardening leave in the history of horticulture, comms from management have been virtually non existent etc, etc. Let’s hope the new CEO & DOF are a bit more savvy - on that point, are they actually in post yet? 🤔
  10. “But enough of me - let’s talk about me instead” ✊💦
  11. The problem is that unless we’ve already got someone lined up to move then clubs can literally name their own price, no matter how eye-watering a figure that might be. No way can we seriously expect to have a decent season with Woltermade (obviously talented but young and no PL experience) Osula & Gordon being our only options. I’m hoping that we sorted that out before letting the rat leave.
  12. Footballers are on the whole mercenary feckers, despite all of the badge kissing bullshit. When I was contracting, if someone offered me a £1/hour better rate down the road I’d have been off, so I can’t get too upset over Isak wanting to move on. For me though the way he’s gone about it has been a disgrace - the sly, underhand way that him & his team have engineered this move. To claim that he had said his goodbyes to his teammates at the training ground was pathetic & a complete insult to the players & the club. Like others have said I hope that the players either completely ignore his departure or respond with a few home truths.
