About the ronaldo booking again, i'd like to know something. Isn't it necessary for contact to have been made for a booking?? I'd thought so, and pundits on espn were going on about how ronaldo's challenge should only have been a yellow since there was no real contact. Can a player actually be sent off for bad intent?? Watching the tackle live my first reaction was that it should be a red card. And i hate ronaldo as much as anyone, the way he waves around his hands asking for other players to be booked is disgraceful.

And ronaldo's sending off against man city was very harsh as well. Not to mention that bolton player sent off( i forgot his name). Absolutely ridiculous. The standard of refereeing in the premier league has become apalling. And these rules they keep on coming up with. They seem to be created to spoil the whole spirit of the game.

They definitely have, but to hold them responsible for a year and a half of complete mediocrity is rubbish. Everytime we lose, souness starts whinging about the long injury list. Ive seen quite a few gutless spiritless performances under graeme. We've stooped to new lows under him. And we im not just complaining about yesterday when he said we were the best team. Ok, maybe we were the best team yesterday. But to be honest, ive watched almost all the games we've played under graeme on TV, we've deserved most of the failure thats come our way. Ive been near to tears, head hanging down in shame, with some of the performances we've put in under him. The club's lost a lot of dignity and self-pride, we've become something of a joke. And that just isn't OK with me. Lets all face it, Souness is a complete nitwit and has caused huge damage to our beloved club which is why I hate the man, and I will hate him forever. May, as in the words of souness, 'lady luck shine upon us' and we be rid of this parasite.

Couldn't agree more with scottish mag. The man is destroying us, to save the club he has to be gotten rid of. Simple as that. If we sack him close season it'll cost us more since the new manager will take his time as well.

Whats left in the season for us?? We need to show the kind of form we havent shown for two years to get anywhere near a european place via the league. And lets not think about the fa cup shall we, it'll be a bloody miracle if we can get to the semis again. Realistically its very unlikely we're going to get into europe or win the fa cup.. So where do the players get the motivation from?? Surely they have to have something to go on about?? Loads of games left to play. I think the new manager should get his chance now. Like I said there's hardly anything left in the season, so the new manager should get used to the job in theses comings months except of wasting the next season like souness did. Come next season, if the manager is decent enough, we'll have a good strong squad ready to start afresh with a more capable manager who has had already the time to get acquainted with them. If we wait till close season to sack souness, godness knows what the fool would have done to us till then. Plus, the new manager will then take his time to get familiar with things. This is the ideal time. SACK HIM AND GIVE US A REASON TO CELEBRATE FOR ONCE..................( a plea unto fat fred)

Disgraceful stuff from afridi, all the more disappointing because he's a top bloke and is said to be a great character around the dressing room. Was the last person I expected this from. The ban will hurt us as well. Funny how noone's mentioning the inzamam run out though. Firstly, throwing like that is against the 'morals of the game' as they say, you hardly see it being done. Secondly and more importantly, that cant be given out. The commentators later stated that the rule book clearly says a batsmen cant be given out if he's avoiding a throw aimed directly at him and it hits the stumps. Funny how the officials missed that, even funnier how the media's ignoring it. Quite a day eh??
